Silvery light reflecting on the water,
Stunning as the gems,
Clear like the mirror.
She was there,
Leaning on an eroded rock,
Watching silently,
The prince of her dream,
Dancing with his lover,
Unsuspecting of the sad eyes,
Of the fair lass on the water,
As bitter tears fallen from her eyes.
This is the first time she cried,
Tasting the grief of the water drops,
As water always managed to wipe them away,
When she was still in the water.
She has a pretty tail,
Once upon a time,
Shining with the amber color,
As she swam freely in her home,
The ocean.
Now she have tail no more,
And her time is close.
And for her last goodbye,
She smiled,
bitter, bitter smile
And her time is up.
When the morning light shone upon the earth,
The fair mermaid is no where to be seen,
Only the sea foam,
That faded and dispersed were present,
Back to the mother sea.
