I had a teacher during my first semester who actively didn't give me real criticism on my pieces when we had critique days. Halfway into that semester I actually lost my temper and called my teacher out in the middle of a critique session in front of the entire class. There was speculation for a while that she either disliked me cause I was the only spotted mutt in the class or because I refused to do the grid system method since I knew how to draw using shapes. Regardless this point in my life so far I am actually very proud of myself since being an introvert I tend to try and brush it off as "whatever" but this was my craft and I've been drawing all my life so far and I wasn't gonna let some wannabe artist of a teacher push me down.
