Being on the same end myself, it is an unwritten rule when you're a customer to either be blind or forget how to read.
At my theater job though, whoever designed our menus WAS a moron. Even us workers couldn't read the prices the typeface was so small (and the color choice made it worse). So I don't blame our customers for not seeing the prices, haha.
