I’m walking home after a weird day when a sudden realization hits me. “What have I just done?” I said to myself as the rain clouds begin to swarm me. Going against my own morals, what kind of monster am I? My happiness slushed away to utter worries. Many thoughts began rushing through my head like, “How are my friends going to react?”
Suddenly, guess who shows up? “Hey my dude, why so deep blue?” she says taken me by surprise. “TRACY!!! DON’T DO THAT!!!” I scream out of shock. “Oops, sorry about that.” “It’s ok Tracy. Sorry for overreacting, you just got to stop scaring me like that,” I reply. “Anyways, why the long face?” she asks with a bit concern inside her.
“What, you didn’t hear yet? I just got a job at Yawa.” I tell her. “You!?! A job!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!” She laughs, thinking I was telling her a joke. I stared at her, trying to keep a straight face. Her laughs are always enjoyable to hear... except when they are at you. She finally looked down at me and saw my face. “...oh… you weren’t kidding…” she utters out, scratching the back of her red ponytail.
Now, that’s classic Tracy right there. Never knows when it’s a joke or not. Yeah… sometimes I wonder why we are friends. But that is always overruled by the fact that I can’t make friends. I guess she was the only one who reached out to me since everyone else thinks I’m not “popular” ... for now. But… as of now, I’m friends with a tall yet a’dork’able, redheaded dummy who has a heart of gold so I can’t argue.
