So horrendously, hideously, horrifically wrong.

This isn’t just a mere nightmare, is it?

No, nightmares don’t keep going when you wake up.

This one does.

A lucid dream maybe? Then what…? Wait it out?

I’m trapped by my own mind in a room so bright my eyes hurt from staying open.

It’s as if the room was designed to have me close my eyes indefinitely.

As if they want me to sleep indefinitely (or at least until I’m allowed to wake up again).

Honestly… that idea sounds quite attractive.
