Lexy woke up on a giant metal slab. Lexy tried to get up but she was quickly restrained by brown leather cuffs. Suddenly, she remembered where she was and what happened. She looked around quickly but settled down once she realized that neither Madam Vile nor Raven was there.
Lexy then slowly looked around. She tried to think of a way to get out, but she couldn’t think of one. Lexy tried to think harder. Nothing would come to her. “So much for knowing what to do,” Lexy said to herself. The door creaked open.
“Look, Raven, our sleeping beauty is awake!” Lexy saw Madam Vile pop her head through the door opening.
“Oh, yay,” Raven said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
Madam Vile was acting like an excited child. She turned around to look at Raven. “Spoilsport.”
“What do you want?” Lexy asked. She didn’t understand the way that Madam Vile was acting.
“I want the same thing that I’ve said that I wanted.” Madam Vile got closer. “Your kingdom.” She backed up again, gaining an air of “I’m better than you” ness.
“And after all, I’ve given you to think about, I’m expecting you to just hand it over.”
Lexy looked dubiously at her. “I will not give you something that doesn’t really exist.” Lexy still doubted that a kingdom where she was a princess existed.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Madam Vile looked at Raven. “I figured that your greatest weakness was loneliness. In fact, I’m certain of it. Why didn’t it work?”
Raven looked definitely at Madam Vile. “Perhaps, we have not accounted for something.” Raven shivered. “Friends and a heart.”
Madam Vile looked aghast. “Why would anyone ever want those?” She turned towards Lexy who was watching in awe. “Who are these new characters?” Lexy thought to herself.
“Do you have heart and friends?”
Lexy looked up quickly. “I have both and love them,” Lexy said just to spite her. She wasn’t sure what that meant though.
“Well,” Madam Vile looked back at Raven. “That’s easily fixed isn’t it.”
Raven smiled wide. “Why, yes mother, it is!”
Madam Vile turned back to Lexy and raised her hand. It grew black until it was glowing black. It reeked of evil.
Madam Vile stalked over to Lexy. “Are you ready to feel alone?”
Lexy looked up at her. Her voice started low but soon gained volume. “Why don’t you understand. I Will Never Feel Alone!!!!”
Lexy flung back all her extremities and entered a sweet gold light.
