WHAT!? THIS IS SO COOL~!
I've always been a reader meandering in the shadows reading comics, but I've recently become a created and aiming to be a more active part in the community here.
This will be my first Inksgiving, but wow, what a great way to support Tapas' amazing talent <3.
For the best information, check out the post from Tapas directly: https://tapas.io/spring-inksgiving
Here's my understanding:
During a 24 hour period from May 22 at 4 pm PDT to May 23 4 pm PDT there will a mass Ink-giving away extravaganza! The more ink given away by supporters, the higher the kick back bonus ink received the following month!
If 10 million drops are given away, 10% of your drops will be returned in June.
At 15 million its 15%... at 20 million its 20%... <3
As a fan and reader, you can either purchase or earn ink on the Tapas app or Tapas.io website. There will be discounts on ink packs and special ways to earn free ink to give away to creators of comics and novels.
Be sure to post about the event and share with your friends and family. #SpringInksgiving is the official hashtag for the event.
I am hoping to see my first signs of ink during the event. Part of my hope is to earn funding to support putting Prince's Priest into a published paperback format. I have access and the know-how, but I lack the funds to achieve this on my own.
In case you weren't aware, PP is only book 1. Yes, you read that right. I've planned at least a 5-7 book series arc for out two broody BL hotties, Dante and John. Their adventures don't stop here as they will travel to Captiva City, discover Bishop Marquis is up to no good, go on a search for Frank, and even make their way to Prevera the pacifist country tucked away in the mountains to the north.
I'll also be showing my support for my favorite comics and novels during the event. I hope to see everyone with a ink smudge here or there in hopes of encouraging the creative minds and talents to keep going.
Thank you for your support thus far!
And here's to the future of wonderful stories!
