The cool thing about WIPs is that they have an appeal that finished pieces don't. They make you feel like you're peering behind the curtain, seeing the raw energy of an artist. At the same time, they represent unlimited potential. It's as if they could develop in any direction. With the advent of social media, posting WIPs has become a commodity unto itself. I wonder if there are any artists out there who ONLY post WIPs.
