A lot of artists can't stand it when they're told their OCs are similar to different characters. I get how it can be annoying, but DAMN! Some artists downright DETEST these comparisons! Personally, I tend to ask "Is this character influenced by (blank)?" instead of saying "Reminds me of (blank)". The latter seems more accusatory, while the former feels like a genuine attempt at connection.
Theodore Roosevelt has a quote about not comparing yourself to others. For this comic, I thought it would be funny to make the quote about people comparing your OCs to other characters.
