Uncertainty-shudders

A stone at the center of my chest 

It's there but that's all I can say for it,

a shadow of what it really is

a flicker of its actual weight

like a dam holding back water,

a bomb ticking away.

These tears-this raw uncertainty-

these tangle of knots,

I can't comprehend it.

My head's shutting down-

I'm a stranger in my own body.

Who am I.
