It was really good, I'm going to look forward to more of it. I love the vibe you gave me with that piece. And, thanks for the encouragement, it means a lot to me. Sorry for not uploading, I'm in a partial hospitalization program so I don't exactly have time. On top of that, I'm trying to edit the previous chapters and since this is the first time I'm actually trying to finish a book idea, its really hard to keep on going without dragging this book out without meaning to. I'm also sorry if my story is too dark. I write chapters based on my moods:/
It's OK for not update frequently. I'm sorry to hear that you're being hospitalized frequently. I totally understand the feeling of trying to finish a chapter to its most beautiful state and the unconscious pressure to finish a book. I'm not going to say "tune out your editor" or "plunge your head down and just write it" because personally I struggle with the inner perfectionist, too. But remember that this is your first book, you're testing the water for a suitable character, plot line and all, so don't worry about "dragging" your book. Finish the book idea is the end goal, not finish the book idea in the most perfect way. (P/S: Why would you apologize for writing a dark story XD? I'm digging that stuff.)
Welp, there was one scene where I went a bit too far and may have made Alkina sound a bit depressed and Idk if anybody wants to read stuff like that... Thanks for the advice though, its nice to hear from a fellow writer :)
