the scenery in a picture

one they all overlook-

silent yet just as deadly

a world of comfort-trapped in her head 

words stuck in her throat

voiceless,

the waves devour her,

like a heartbeat,

like a ride, 

sending her flying into the air then straight back down again.

Choking on air,

sealegs on land,

her emotions rule over her.

An unintended fight,

she's the ace in a deck of cards, 

she's the wild card. 

She's the piece of the puzzle you never noticed you needed until you don't have it anymore.
