I add the finishing touch to the dish I'm preparing and step back, satisfied with my work.

I decided to cook the scrambled eggs that Psyche taught me how to make as a lame attempt to impress him. I did everything exactly the way he taught me, except for the parsley garnish, which I added for some extra pizazz.

As I'm admiring my handiwork I hear Psyche close the door behind his siblings. I smile and walk over to him in the entryway, resting my hand on his shoulder.

Psyche jumps, startled. "Oh shit, I'm really sorry for that. I didn't mean to scare you," I say, worried.

Psyche smiles at me. "It's not a big deal. Ugh, I'm so glad that everyone finally left," he says, burying his face into my chest.

"Me too. Now I can show you my surprise," I respond. Psyche lifts his head up and raises an eyebrow. "Oh? What kind of surprise?" he asks.

"If I told you that would ruin the whole point!" I gently place a cloth over his eyes so that he can't see. "I'll guide you to it," I say, putting my hands on his shoulders.

We walk over to the kitchen, where I finally remove his blindfold. Psyche looks at the meal and gasps.

"Holy shit, this is amazing! I can't believe you did this for me, that's so sweet. Honestly the most surprising part of this whole thing is that you actually remembered the recipe," he exclaims excitedly.

I chuckle. "I'm really glad you like it. Here, let me get you a fork so you can start eating," I say, walking over to the utensils drawer.

Psyche fidgets. "Um, actually I'm not feeling that great and I don't think I could stomach anything right now," he says. "I'll just wrap it up for later if that's okay."

"Of course that's okay, Psyche!" I grab ahold of his face and examine it, noticing that he does look paler than normal. "Can I kiss your pain away? Only if you feel up to it, though."

Psyche nods and smiles at me, which I take as his consent. I softly kiss his luscious lips, then gradually make my kisses more passionate, adding in more and more tongue.

I finally pull away from him, but he stops me as I'm taking my hand out of his hair. "Let's continue somewhere a little more private," he whispers seductively.
