I wish I was a more serious Cosplayer than I am, the time and cost commitments have made it rather difficult to do more than once a year (I am overly obsessed with throwing Halloween parties and organizing group costumes! Make sure you keep an eye on my posts this October to see a throwback to my favourites). My work and this strip keep me way too busy but if I won the lottery I think my goal would be to create cosplay for myself and others In a studio where other people could pay membership fees and be able to use the tools and space. All in all, I think Jeremy has a solid plan though – attach yourself to a Drag Family and you would never run out of projects to keep you busy.
Artist’s Note – You may notice that Sue looks like she hit the “Vanity Pumps” at the gym pretty hard since her first appearance, this was a result of drawing this last panel and seeing her average arms go to “Mr. Clean in drag” once she crossed them. In initial character sketches, her arms seemed thick enough in comparison to Cam or Jeremy but quickly seemed underdeveloped once I saw how they should look crossed. Also, a few people have reached out to me saying they want the Instagram strips to be larger “swipeable” panels. So from this point on, I shall do just that.
