I opened my eyes.

It was still dark, and silence reigned in the house.

I picked up my phone to look at the timetable and saw that a couple of hours had passed since I had fallen asleep.

Strange that I could not sleep, evidently being in the rain had caused consequences.

I stood up with my back, leaning against the side of the sofa and enjoying the peace of the moment.

I looked at the other sofa, where the landlord slept.

He looked so blissful, he seemed calm.

I hoped that whatever was his discomfort, it had partly passed.

I decided that I would sitting near the window to enjoy the night view of the beautiful Asian city.

Being careful not to make the slightest noise, I got up from the sofa and went to sit right in front of the large window.

Needless to say, the view was something wonderful.

The lights danced with darkness, enchanting the view and outlining new profiles to the city, giving a new perspective to the environment and creating a condition of unparalleled charm.

I was enraptured by it all.

Furthermore, the outline of silence created a new magical atmosphere, contributing to emphasize the show even more.

My thoughts flowed spontaneously to that view, bringing with it a slight sense of melancholy.

I was so far from home, in a country so new to me.

I had liked to embark on this adventure, but at that moment a small glimmer of fear had made room inside me.

What if it went wrong here too?

If I had been disappointed again this time?

In the end there had been unpleasant episodes, and at that moment they were hammering hard in my head.

A slight sigh came out of my spirit.

However, as soon as I looked up to admire the starry sky again, a sense of inner strength made its way into me.

I had arrived here, I had overcome linguistic barriers and day after day I was committed to showing my value.

I was scared of course, but I couldn't and I didn't want to let this emotion take over.

A small smile took over my face.

- Can I sit here with you to admire the stars? - his voice made me surprised.

I thought he was still sleeping.
