LADIES FIRST - I've made these character mood/inspiration boards to collate imagery of their influences and to more clearly communicate the characteristics and intended nature of the character when pitching to publishers etc. Also great to use it as a characterization guide! I also made up words and music page that does the same thing for me. I especially find that the music is an excellent way to mentally capture the atmosphere of certain scenes, especially because there is a lot of symbology in this story, regarding polar opposites, which loads of song lyrics use as well, (regarding the sun and moon, fire, water, good, evil etc.) so I find it really easy to link the lyrics to what's happening in the narrative which helps me to remember what's going to happen, when and what it should feel like.

It may seem a little counter-intuitive to give away so many spoilers, but I am trying my best to create a familiar yet unique and timeless love story that transcends the boundaries of gender, age, and sanity, and I hope that it won't matter if you've worked out some bits already because it's gonna be hell good once it's all finished IN LIKE TEN YEARS LOL (Maybe more like within 2-3 depending on what happens in my life etc.) Always try to never have a dull moment, or to riddle every page with purpose, meaning, humor or awesomeness. I also really enjoy working in a nonlinear way, so I can work on whatever part I am most passionate about in the moment, add more or take away things as I please to perfect it!
Oh nooo, I forgot to mention that he LOOOOVES Broadway shows! Actually, there are loads of extra details not mentioned in these visual notes, so there should still be a little mystery left to the characters. But hopefully, ya get their gist.
