William found himself in a daze on his way home. He ran through all the day’s events in his head, while carefully holding the small box in his hands. He finally made it home, to his eerie home that once held so many happy memories, from every night spent planning the next adventure that him and his love went on to bringing her there, were her awkward smile showed she had thought the place abandoned, but now only holds sorrowful regret with each memory a painful reminder of what he couldn't do. Now he walks into his dark once mansion like home in the forest with the new object in his hands that holds a new hope, that could give him a second chance at love and do what he couldn't in the past.
"Wow. What's got you so entranced?" A kind familiar voice cried out to William, breaking him from his trance.
"Nothing, Keith." William stated unconvincing.
"Really? OK. So then how did your latest kill go?" Keith asked while shrugging and turning back to the built-in bar in one of the empty lounging rooms, were he poured himself another drink.
"Um it didn't." William confessed, while heading to the bar himself.
"What happened?" Keith questioned, looking at William while he poured his drink.
"It's a little complicated." William explained, then downed his drink.
"I'm not going any where. Also you some more agitated then normal." Keith plainly stated.
"I found her." William muttered with a half-smile that quickly replaced with another drink.
"Who?" Keith questioned for moment until it hit him. "You mean Danni, that's great. I thought you'd be jumping for joy." Keith patted Wills back.
"No, you see there's a problem." He states while indulging in another drink.
"What? Was she reincarnated into a boy?" Keith joked with his somewhat short brown hair bouncing in and out of his face.
"Well there is that." William said shrugging.
"Is that a problem?" Keith fully asked.
"No. That's fine." William said starting to get annoyed. He grabbed his dark lock of hair and leaned on the bar.
"Then What? What could be so bad?" Keith said calmly while taking another drink and slightly looking over at the broken man next him.
The broken man looked up at him for a moment and asked, "Well you know it's been a while since I punished any of that family that killed Danni."
Keith nodded "The Dragan family. Right?" He asked.
"Yeah, except they changed at some point in the 18th or 19th century to LeBeau. Thought they could that way." He exclaimed.
"That's when you slowed down on killing and hunting them." Keith pointed out.
"Yeah, anyway you knew I was going out tonight because one became adventurous and moved out the limits of its family." Keth shook his head yes at this. "While I got there and the moment I went for the kill I saw it." William started carving a star into the bar and Keith saw.
"The birthmark? On Who?" The brunette thought.
"On him, the LeBeau." The moment those words came out of Williams mouth Keith sprayed out the once sweet alcohol in his mouth.
"Really? Dang. That's interesting." Keith said while cleaning his self-up.
"Yeah, got me too. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there while talked to me." He confessed while hitting his head on the table.
"Well look on the Bright-side you guys found each other again." Keith said smiling a small smile while patting his friends’ shoulder.
"But she carries the same filthy blood as those that killed her." He yelled furiously. He got up out of his seat and started pacing.
"So, maybe this is her way of stopping the bloodshed." Keith suggested.
"Knowing her probably.! "He said pointing and screaming at the air.
"If it truly bothers you. You could kill him and wait an see if you can find him again" Keith started straight at will with darkened eyes and continued, while will thought, and said,
"But, you may not find him" Will stopped and looked at Keth.
"Not everyone is lucky enough find their true love again and despite what people think not everyone chooses to be reincarnated, it's rare. For all you know killing him, without that bond of love this time, will make him hate you. Then you'll lose any chance to be with your love." Keith spoke with sorrow that filled each word.
"You're right; and I'm sorry." Will said to Keith while walking up to him and resting a hand on his shoulder. Keith was staring at his almost empty glass. "You're fine" he breathed in and ran his hand down his face as to whip away any signs of emotion and asked, "What's with the box?"
Will unconsciously rubbing circles in it at the moment.
"Oh, this. It was a gift" Will said while looking at the box and recalling the events of that day once again. 'I need to figure out a way to ask him out. An not have him know what I am.' Will thought. “This will be fun" he muttered sarcastically.
"Good luck" Keith laughed while toasting to his friend.
