Budge looked over at him and smiled, "Still afraid of the clinic, huh?"
He nodded silently, hunching a little into his grey shirt. Budge put a hand on his shoulder.
"You'll just be in and out. It's only a yearly check up. How bad could it be?"
"At least it's not a physical," He replied to make himself feel better. "Just in and out, and that'll be it for another year."
These yearly check up were something that he did not exactly favor. They did strange things to him besides x-rays and stethoscopes to his chest to seek his heart beat. These doctors instead places wires all over him and electrocuted him for a short period of time; about twenty minutes, and then it would be done. He was not killed though this process, but this was a type of therapy to help align and keep more than just his health in balance. He was different. His brother was different. Everyone on Gydon was different. He was charged with a supernatural power of manipulating electricity at his will. If he could, he could drain the entire city of it's electrical supply and eliminate everyone with a single discharge from his hands, but he has enough common sense than to suddenly go on a murder spree for who knows why. He was afraid to use his powers, because he felt like he could hurt someone dear if he used it recklessly, and learned his lesson years ago when he accidentally shocked his brother, giving him the no-purpose gift of a second degree burn on his arm. He does not consider himself a monster. He knows that it was just an accident, but for future's sake, he vowed to never use it again. Soon years elapsed, and he has no second thoughts. Of course, he still need this check up.
"I feel sick," He murmured from his tight ball form and wrapped his available arm around his quaking tummy. Budge wiggled his shoulder a little bit.
"You'll be okay." he reassured, sounding he did not know what else to say, and glanced back at the pamphlet in his grip.
