Krystal Gregory was hard at work perfecting her beauty. She was laying on her bed, upside down. Margo and Lyndie were on her Com-M. They were in the middle of discussing their weekend plans, while communicating on their Holographic Cylindrical Receivers. "Okay, on to new business. I spoke to the VP today, and he thinks that our committee members are too good looking." She said.
"What? Our members are gorgeous! 'Good looking' is an understatement," said Margo.
"Agreed! Has he seen our members? We even have a Cheerleader!" replied Lyndie
"Yeah, well he's totally craze! But he wants us to recruit like, smarties." Krystal replied
"Now way! N-Not there's anything wrong with being smart, cough cough Margo." Lyndie said.
"Cough cough. Whatever, Lyn. But, it's not like I'm a genius or anything." expressed Margo.
"True. But, at least you're pretty." replied Krystal, she tousled her hair boastfully
Lyndie giggled. "Okay, we're all pretty. But, we should really should look into adding different people." said Krystal.
Silence.
"Laaater!" they all replied and laughed together. Krystal sat upright
"Now, onto more important matters. Marge's birthday!"
"Wow! I almost forgot, we have a month to finish everything and...we finally have a venue! Thanks to my Grampy." said Krystal.
"No way!" Lyndie said "Totally way! He gave me a choice, Suzanne, or the beach house. If we're going to be Fab, why not celebrate it by sea?" Krystal expressed
"I can't believe you got the Yacht for me." Margo knew now, that everything would be perfect.
"Of course I did! Only the best for my besties! Now, the Fash is Seaworthy and Beach attire. So wear something AMAZE!" said Krystal.
I MUST ADVISE AGAINST THIS EVENT, YOUNG ONE. A voice said. Krystal rolled her
eyes The voice spoke again it was calm and masculine. ONE SHOULD NOT WALK INTO TREACHEROUS WATERS.
"Shut up!" Krystal whispered.
"Uhhh, we didn't say anything." Margo was confused, as was Lyndie.
Krystal laughed it off and spoke. "Whatevs. Where were we?" she asked
"Uh, decorations? We're not putting them up ourselves, right?" Lyndie asked
"Eww!" Margo said "Totally not! We'll get the Jocks to do it." Krystal said.
"Cosmic idea! Now, all that leaves is music!" Lyndie said.
THE SEA CAN BE CALM, BUT VERY DANGEROUS. the voice said.
"What do YOU know about the sea?" she didn't whisper this
time. Lyndie and Margo were even more confused now. "What? You okay, Krissy?" They were
concerned now. "Yeah, why?" she asked
"'Cause you're acting kinda spacial on us, and we know tons about the sea." Lyndie said
They were starting to get nervous. It wasn't like to her to talk to herself all the time. "Uh, let's talk music."
"Right! Lyn, bring all your mixes. Since you make them yourself, it won't cost us a Coppir." Krystal said.
"Love that idea."
YOUR CHOICE IS A RECKLESS AND FOOLISH, YOUNG ONE. The voice said
Krystal was frantic.
"What's with the interrupting!? I'm not bothering you am I? So just...be quiet." To them, their friend was acting very strange and crazed.
"Uh...you need a nap, Krissy?" Margo asked
"No, she needs a major power nap!" Lyndie replied "We're gonna.... go, bye." Margo said
"No don't--!" Krystal said. Lyndie interrupted "Get your power nap...and ring us lates, 'kay?" "Girls--!" Krystal tried to stall, but there was silence on both ends.
"Ah! Look what you did!"
FRIENDS SHOULD NOT ENDANGER EACH OTHER.
"What do you mean? My friends aren't a danger to me! And we're constantly under 365-day protection; my dad's a Ranger you know!" she yelled.
ALL OF THOSE STATEMENTS ARE VERY TRUE. BUT THE DANGER IS YOU YOURSELF.
"You've been on my case since I was eight! What do you want, huh!?"
TO SIMPLY GUIDE YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY. UNTIL YOU'RE READY, AND NO LONGER NEED ME.
"Ready for what? How do you I'm not ready now, Reuben?"
YOU ARE NOT, SIMPLY BECAUSE I AM STILL HERE WITH YOU.
She sighed, and took off her glasses, and eased into her giant quilt "So, are you really like, a monk?" she asked
YES I WAS, IN MY TIME. Reuben replied
"How is it that, that no one else can hear you after all this time?"
THERE ARE THOSE WHO CAN.
"Really? Well, I wanna meet them."
YOU WILL, IN TIME. REST NOW, YOUNG ONE. And she did just that, in an instant, his voice echoed, and he was gone.
