Maverick~
I walk through the tunnels slightly as the smell of blood is still in my nose. I huff and walk to the edge of the tunnel, seeing the other part of town. My jaw tightens as I look at it before putting a foot out, dropping as I land on my feet.
I look around, vines crawling up the wall and weeds moving around me as I stand straight and start walking. I should find a new place. I think and keep walking before I hear a screech of a child and I stop. Rogue.
I feel the vibrations of movement underneath my feet as the rogue moves quickly in the tall weeds. I see it charge for me as I dodge and draw my katana as it turns, giving another blood curling scream and comes at me.
My katana starts to ring as I look at it, my eyes turning red as I turn sideways. It stumbles before I bring my blade down, the blade cutting into the flesh of its neck and the head tumbles to the ground.
I flick the blade, the black blood splattering on the ground. Disgusting. I think as I keep walking, sheathing my katana. The smell of the rogues' blood reaks, smelling like death in the area as I see more rogues as they move around.
I feel the vibrations as I keep walking, the rogues paying no mind as I walk. Halfway through the broken and abandoned, I see the old building. It crumbling more than the last time I was here.
I sigh and keep walking before hearing a crunch and a human heart. I stop as I turn, my katana drawn and pointed to the human's neck to see it's Ace. His eyes are wide as his heart rate picks up.
The hell? I think and lower my katana, "What are you doing here and how did you get here?" I ask. He blinks, "I came to follow you, and I followed you,"
then why didn't I sense you? I think and grunt before sheathing my katana as I sigh. I turn and head into the building as I hear him follow me.
"Are you a vampire?" he asks as I head to my old and makeshift room, watching where I step, "Perhaps."
"Perhaps? It was a yes or no question," he says, following me before hearing a yelp as I turn and grab his wrist before he falls. He grunts as I pull him up.
"Sorry,"
"Just watch where you step, the place is old," I say as I turn and keep walking before seeing my room. I enter it as I sigh, sitting on the ground as I feel his gaze on me.
"Yes?" I ask as his heart rate spikes, "Wh-why did you save me?" he asks. I close my eyes and inhale sharply as I hear him sigh. I wonder that myself.
