The story behind this cinquain is kinda silly. I have an five in one radio that has a turntable for vinyl records, which is why it's titled Turntable, but of course the thought popped up that this also makes sense in an addiction story sense. I told my creative writing teacher what I initially had in mind because she asked, and rightfully so, still after I read it to the class another student asked. In that moment my brain took a giant dump and I just said yeah it's about addiction.
I still cry about it today lol
Either way you see it is fine by me tho tbh
