Just some terminology
I know some of you love yaoi, just give me a change to explain where I'm going with this, it might seem like I'm just hating but bare with me!

gay men are infantilized in a sort of pseudo fetishistic way - and A LOT of yaoi depicts what is basically rape. Also the depictions of gay sex can be really unrealistic, like the Seme raping the Uke just slipping it in like "woop there it goes! they are saying no but this is still healthy what i'm doing". I MUCH prefer gay stories/art created by other gay men TBH
