Carlos walked through the hall loaded with students, checking his classes. Alright math is first period He thought to himself. He walked over to his class and checked inside through the window, class was still closed and he had time to spare. He remembered that all new students were getting guides, he was sure glad he wasn't one of them. They were all sooooo annoying. He checked his watch, 7:57, three more minutes left till class. He stood by his locker and looked around looking for new students. One of them caught his eye, she wasn't new? But he had never seen her. Before he had time to finish his thought the bell rang and he went into class.
Savannah entered the High School, it was sure bigger than any other school she'd seen! So many students! So many classes! And 3 floors! She was really excited for her school year. Her parents told her that there would be a guide waiting for her. She searched around eagerly and spotted a girl who seemed to be waiting for somebody. So Savannah walked over and introduced herself. "Hello! I'm Savannah and I'm new here! Are you my guide?". The girl answered,"Sorry, uh I'm not your guide, but I know who is, It's that girl over there, and tell her that Jenny told her to be nice, and also I'm Jenny! Nice to meet you! See you later!". Wow, Jenny sure talked a lot Savannah thought. She walked over to the girl Jenny pointed to. She introduced herself to her and told her everything Jenny told her to say. The girl guided her around and showed to her first class. Savannah thanked her and walked into class, the bell rang and Savannah was glad for that guide girl, or she would have gotten lost in the huge school!
Lianna stepped into the school. Again the familiar sights, students, teachers, lockers opening and closing, books being carried. Everyone was busy. Like at her father's work. Now is not the time to think about Father she thought. She checked her schedule, her first class was science. She giggled thinking about the science experiment that blew up last year. Then her mood darkened. She thought about the fact that she had not giggled nor laughed in months. She waved the thought off and walked up the stairs to the third level. She loved the science room, it had a big, blue stained glass window in it which was the roof. There were glass butterflies hanging off it, they were all different colors, shapes, ans sizes. It was kind of like stepping into a rainbow. She sighed happily and walked to her seat. And she was just in time. The bell rang.
Ally put her bike onto the bike rack behind the school. She walked through the school doors and noticed something was wrong. There were no students, no teachers, nobody, not even the janitor. She wondered if she was early, she checked her phone, 8:08! She was very late! She checked her schedule, okay math was first period. She raced to class praying she wouldn't get detention. She walked into class and there was an old lady sitting at the teacher's desk. "Uh, good morning Miss, I'm sorry I'm late I lost track of ti-". But the old lady shushed her. "It's fine my dear, it's the first day of school and it's totally fine, just take a seat at your desk", the old lady said. Ally breathed a sigh of relief and sat down in her seat.
