We see the sunrise in an open field which is located a few hundred miles east of the village,  There is a bird flying swiftly through the windy sky. All of a sudden an Afreet jumps up and grabs the bird, crushing it in its hands. There is now blood flowing throughout the sky, and a feather falls to the ground.

Later that day, Zaire and his mother standing in a crowd full of people, some sad, and some happy.

Zaire is waiting to see his dad’s corpse.

Zaire sees multiple kids running up to their dads and embracing them cheerfully, he wishes that he was one of those fortunate kids.

 To Zaire's right is a soldier looking through a list of names.

Soldier 1: Is anyone present for Mr. Malfoy?

Zaire is afraid to speak..

Zaire’s mother: Yes sir, right over here.

The soldier looks down at the small carriage holding the “body”.

Soldier: I am so sorry, this is all we have left of him.

The soldier takes out a head, wrapped in a cloth and hands it to Zaire’s mom. There’s a scar going through the eye of the head.

Zaire’s mom holds the head close to her chest, and sobs.

Her sobs turn into loud cries.

Twenty four hours later...

Zaire is sitting down with a girl, they are both leaning their backs up against the remains of an old house, which is surrounded by numerous trees.

Aella: Are you sure your okay?

Zaire: Aella, I already told you..I’m fine.

Aella: There’s nothing wrong with being sad.

Zaire is about to speak, but is interrupted.

Elijah: Hey..guys.

Aella: Elijah! Hi.

Zaire: Hi.

Elijah sits down next to them.

Elijah: Zaire…

Zaire: What?

Elijah: I’m sorry..about your father. My mom just told me about him, awhile ago..

Zaire: I’m sorry too.

Zaire’s eyes widen!

Zaire: I feel sorry for what those Afreet have to face now!

Aella: Face…?

Elijah: What?

Zaire hesitates, and then speaks.

Zaire: I’m going to join the Bestia Division of the army, so I can avenge my father!

Elijah: Your mom would be left all alone. You can’t!

Aella: No! Are you stupid? You could die!

Zaire: I said I’m doing it! I have to! It's the only way to make this right! I expected you guys to support me!

Aella: No I wo-

-Aella is interrupted-

Elijah: Stop Aella. Let Zaire do as he pleases. Let him be at peace with himself, “let him make stuff right,” as he says it.

Elijah looks at Zaire..

Elijah: Just don’t die on us, please.

Zaire: I’ll try not to.

Way above the village there is a feather flying in the air, identical to the one that had fallen off the bird that was killed. 

That could only mean one thing..

They're close...
