“That was over quite quickly” Revadias stepped out of the shadows, looking at lying patron with curiosity.
“He was too grabby” Ardeni closed her eyes. ”But his appearance did not stick, I am looking myself again” she pointed at Revadias. She turned to the mirror, looking at the reflection. The left side of her face was covered by red crystal mask resembling half of the skull, around her neck tight choker from silk ornamented by small bone runes. “And I thought you said there will be cloak”
“Metaphorically. After all, even your choker was able to cloak you quite well” Revadias chuckled “I created your relics from what you have brought me. Or was I supposed to weave cloak from the hair of your friend?”
“Not complaining“ Ardeni shrugged. “But something to cover myself would be nice”
“We will get to it” Revadias sat down on patrons bed. “Until now you followed instructions. Well…” he looked down on the patron's body “At least some of them. I asked specifically to play with him for a longer time.”
“I told you, he was too grabby” Ardeni sighed
“Well, it created some complications.” Revadias looked around “But, overcoming those will be your task, not mine. Now, let me explain your relics to you”
Ardeni put the mace aside and looked at him. “I am listening?”
“Almost all spells I will provide to you are tied to relics. And these three are just the beginning. You can teach your sceptre properties of any elixir you wish. If you have enough of it. And I imbued it with hallucinations for the start. Did you notice mists? Those who breathe them will believe nothing around is real. And that, as you saw, can come quite handy. Now, your cloak…”
“Choker” Ardeni interrupted him with a smile
“Your cloak can create the illusion of any garment you examined. And it will be a splendid illusion, but, not perfect. If you change it to the furs, it will warm you, but you will still feel the wind on your skin. Well, you will see, just remember, even if you conjure armour, it will not protect you from blows.”
“I can conjure armour?”
“Any clothing or armour you know exactly how it looks and behaves” Revadias nodded
“Now to the mask” Revadias touched the mask “For the beginning, you can steal appearance of someone. And you can press your appearance to him. But…” he looked at the patron “To do so, you need to channel part of his life force. An to do that, you need close contact. And the longer you maintain it, longer you keep your disguise. That’s why I was asking you to play with him for as long as you can.”
“So I just need to touch him” Ardeni looked at patron with disgust
“Well, not just touch” Revadias shrugged “Or rather, more contact you have, faster it goes”
“So he does not need to be awake?” she smiled.
