I’m not exactly sure when it started, but our cat Mew has figured out that a sure-fire way to get us out of bed is to scratch stuff. The bed frame. The mirrored closet doors. Our faces. It works, so she has no reason to stop. It’s a bit obnoxious but she’s clever too so you can’t hate her for it.
