On Planet Vampa, a planetoid inhabited by various of dangerous creatures that live beneath its extremely large craters. A Vampa Beetle crawls out of a cave before getting eaten by a Vampa Beast when a sound wave is heard nearby. Then, another and another. Repeatedly the sounds were made as if two titans were clashing constantly, shaking the planet. The Vampa Beast looks ahead and zooming right past them are two humanoid figures, startling the creature.

In the sky, the two figures clash before they stop for a brief moment to stand off. It's Goku and Broly. The two smile at one another before one makes the first move and they begin to spar once again. One punch after another the two fight interested in each other's skill and technique, a staple of the proud warrior race. Their fight leads into a gorge where a swarm of Vampa Beetles lurk and begin to attack them during their fight. Broly and Goku dodge their stretchy tongues while fighting themselves before proceeding out of the gorge and high into the air. One thing feels different, Broly's control. The constant days sparring with Goku has taught him to keep his emotions under control and keep his ki in check compared to last time they fought back on Earth.

Meanwhile during the sparring, Cheelai is watching from a distance with Lemo while he's farming crops.

"It's amazing how much control Broly has over his power ever since he starting training with Goku" she exclaims.

"Yeah, thankfully this planet is barely inhabited anyway, the two are going really at it."

Up in the air, Goku smiles at Broly as he gets into fighting stance, ready for another go.

"I'm impressed. It's crazy how immense your power is Broly, it's like every time we spar I can't get enough."

Firing up, Goku's ki had altered. In an instant, the aura surrounding his body had turned blue. His hair alters as well as Goku has went Super Saiyan Blue. In response, Broly fires up as well and turns Super Saiyan. The two charge at one another at full speed.

"Haaaa!"

The two stop no more than a centimeter from each other's faces, having realizing the immense power building just between them alone, shaking the planet. Both move a distance away before reverting back to their base forms.

"Hey you guys! Come take a break will ya!" Cheelai shouts from below.

As Broly heads back down to her, Goku stays midair for a brief moment as his heart beats fast from the moment ago. His blood is pumping and his body is on fire not from adrenaline, but from what could've happened if Broly was actually at full power with that blow.

"The amount of power this guy has is amazing. I can't wait to see what other level we'll reach at next time."

Goku follows behind Broly as they sit near the cave entrance where Lemo finishes farming his crops and joins the others for food. Goku and Broly dig in and Cheelai and Lemo are surprised how much they're eating all at once.

"Don't tell me all saiyans have appetites like these," Lemo exclaims.

"Hey you two, unless you're going to get us more capsules full of food don't eat all of our supplies" Cheelai shouts.

Goku's mouth is stuffed along with Broly's, staring at her before continuing to chow down on what they have. She's a bit annoyed as Lemo hands her water.

"You know Broly, you've really kept yourself under control out there" Lemo says.

Broly stops to look at him before Goku swallows a big chunk of food and speaks himself.

"You really have a lot of untapped power there and it really shows when we spar. I can't wait for the next time. We faced someone not long ago who really made me think about how much I have to go."

As Goku stuffs his face once more, Broly looks down at his food, thinking.

"I've been thinking a lot lately. The amount of power I can't control when I'm at full strength...I just don't want to hurt my friends, especially Cheelai."

He takes a moment to breathe, remembering the moments he lost control fighting in the Arctic on Earth under his father's behalf. A time he wants to put past him but fear of it happening once again clouds his mind. Goku notices this.

"Hey, you won't lose control every again. I can promise you that," he states.

Broly looks at Goku who looks serious on what he has said. He lets out a smile as Cheelai and Lemo sit beside them. It's a peaceful scenery on a desert planet as Vampa Beasts and Beetles are seen over the terrain. A voice calls out.

"Goku. Goku."

Goku looks up and everyone hears it as well looking around them.

"King Kai?"

"Goku, you have urgent matters back on Earth to attend to."

"What's going on?"

"Not much time to explain as of now, but head back to Earth immediately."

King Kai appears serious and Goku prepares to leave, placing two fingers on his forehead.

"Wait. We'll go with you" Cheelai says, "you may need all the help you can get if it's this urgent."

Broly stands up and Cheelai prepares to head out. Lemo remains seated drinking his cup of water.

"You two go along. I'll stay here with the stuff."

"You sure old man? Where's your sense of adventure?"

"Adventure? I'm retired. I'd rather farm all day and relax than risk getting killed by an evil overlord or something. Besides, if we're gonna get off this rock and to Todokama, I have to be repairing the ship around the clock.

"Sure, we'll leave you to that."

"If anything, Lemo, I can see if Bulma can help you with that once this is all done," Goku implies.

Lemo sits back and has a sip.

"I'll take you up on that Goku, take care ya'll"

Cheelai and Broly hold onto Goku as he then touches his forehead with his fingers and disappears, bringing them with him.
