Thinking about my relationship with Kenji, I'd forgotten about the package. Within it was a silver necklace with a Oynx gem that was purplish-black in the shape of a heart. The gem itself made the necklace beauty, but the silver chain made it stand out even more. Power was pouring from the gem, I could feel it inside of me. I knew nothing about this necklace so I placed it back into the package and locked it in my desk draw. Afterward the pain started again and I passed out on my bed. I had a dream, actually it was more like an old forgotten memory. It was the last time I saw my parents alive we, were having fun laughing. They were talking about something, something important that they didn't want me to know. My mother was wearing a necklace, the gem in the middle shined. I wanted to wear it, but she wouldn't let me. She told me it was our family's most powerful and precious treasure.
The necklace was silver with a purple gem in the middle, at times it would change to black or other colors. Each color meant something different and only happened at specific times or when mother was using magic. After their death I went back for the necklace, but I never found it. Ever since I've been searching for it, it was the heart of our family's magic. With that necklace, the gem mostly, a person could destroy or control our magic.
Ten years has passed and I haven't found it yet. As I slept, I still felt the power from the necklace. A jolt of energy woke me the next morning.
The gem was calling to me, it was to strong to ignore. As I started to leave for class I grabbed the necklace. I didn't wear it only placed in, in my skirt pocket. It was a good thing I left early, because Sakura and Zakuro were walking up to my room. I heard them as I was about to round the corner closest to the stairs. "Zakuro, you know she's just going to ignore anything we say." Sakura sounded worried. "Sakura, from what you've told me I'm surprised she was able to walk back to her room with out passing out. What kind of friends would we be if we didn't try to help her." Zakuro was the one I had to worry about, she would lock me in my room if it meant me resting. As I turned around someone started to grab me. I swiftly jumped back from them, but there was someone right be hide me. Before I could counter they grabbed me, the last thing I remember is swift blow to the head.
