I slowly crept down to the dogs eye level. And stook my hand out asking for permission to proceed forward. Most dogs would growl or run away, but not this pooch. He sat complete still with those big dark brown eyes. "H-hi buddy, aren't you adorable." I said sweetly and took my mask off, so I don't scare the dog off. Even though it seemed rather comfortable around me.

        The dog stood up from sitting position, walked up to me and placed it's paw on my leg. Internally I was screaming, this dog was too cute. CAN I KEEP HIM!? I looked at the dog's neck looking for a tag or collar, IT DIDN'T HAVE ONE. I can keep it... him it's a him. I thought while slowly petting the top of his head. He didn't have a collar, but one thing the dog had was a big mark on his forehead. It appeared to be a burn, written in a language I didn't understand.

       I pulled my phone out of my pocket and checked the time again, shit now I was really late for school. I quickly got up and started to speed walk to school, this clearly upset the dog. He began biting my leg dragging me back. "Hey, let go! I am going to be late!" I began yelling at the dog. His eyes drooped down and he slowly let go. Once again I was squatting down in front of the dog, this time clueless about what I was going to do with this dog. He let out soft whimpers and began to rub up on my legs, I  may not be able to leave. "Hey ssh, I need to go to school.Um... if you stay here, by the time I get out of school you can come home with me." I said softly, while petting his head some more.

       His whimpers stopped and he hoped up licking my face. "Haha, stop!" I said giggling. I pated his head and said "remember stay here, I won't wait very long for you." Now that I have something to look forward to when I come out of school, I was in a great mood.
