Test Subject 0133- Codename Calamity (Chapter 5)

Test Subject 0133- Codename Calamity (Chapter 5)

Aug 17, 2019

A ton of stuff happened today. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get it all down before the curfew but I’ll certainly try.

We went outside for the first time today. It’s been a few days since me, Maiza, Sanji and Syrin overheard Seahue and Anderson arguing. Seems like Seahue lost the argument.

When the doors opened, there were about 20-ish people in lab coats. One of them was stood in front of the rest, “What the hell took you so long, Cal?” I recognised his voice- Anderson.

“Look, we’re here now- we can talk in HQ while the kids play outside and get to know eachother.” Only then did I notice about a hundred other kids sitting outside. Most of them weren’t even kids, they looked like teenagers and adults. Seahue and the others went into one of the other buildings and we were left to talk with the other kids. I was asking one of the older kids (Lalond) about her favourite weapons when Sanji pulled me over to tell me something,

“One of the professors was Celie, the lady I was telling you about, the one in the photograph Seahue was looking at last week”

“Wow, you were right-she does look a look like Maiza, doesn’t she?” I said, “From what you told me, it sounded like she and Seahue knew eachother before we were all frozen in time- I’m guessing they worked together since they both look like scientists”

We stayed outside for about two hours before the professors came back and we went inside again. I think I’m finally starting to get an idea of why we were frozen in time. We’re obviously part of some experiment, probably to do with the being frozen in time. If it was for any other reason, I’m guessing something went wrong and Anderson (Who I assume is in charge) froze us in time until everything was fine again. The last theory makes more sense since whatever went wrong is probably the “Incident” that Seahue refers to so ambiguously. This is all speculation honestly but it’s the best we have right now. Anyway, it’s getting late so I’ll stop writing now.

After thousands of years in hibernation, a girl and 199 other children awaken in a supposedly uninhabited world with no recollection of what happened or why she and the others were selected to live, with the only clues being the number tattoed on her arm and the writing on her shirt- "Test Subject 0137- Maiza"
