"Hey, Dad? Where's Theo? I don't see him anywhere in the cave or at his house and he isn't picking up his phone." Kate said to Slinky. 

"Hm. I don't know but I'm sure he's alright." Slinky replied.

Kate had finally recovered from her injuries but now found herself all alone in Calibre Cave. Not knowing where Theo is made her nervous about fighting crime by herself especially now having slight trauma from the Cauterizer. Nonetheless, the cave's alarm went off and Kate jumped to action. She transported to somewhere she had never been before. The villain she was going to face this time was located on an island in the tropics. She looked around and saw a girl who was manipulating sand to suffocate innocent civilians. 

"Stop it now! I won't let you do any more harm to anyone." Kate announced. 

"Hmph. You're mean. Can't you think about how I feel? I just want to have fun. Don't stop me because I can do whatever I want! You aren't my mom!" The villain said.

Kate yelled at her saying "Yeah well they aren't puppets they are real people! So stop pretending you can play with them!" 

She then leaped forward and used a leaf blower that she had made while talking to blow the sand off the people. 

Then the villain said, "Hey lady you can't do that!" 

Kate replied "Yes I can! I am Thorn and I've come to stop you." 

The villain stopped for a moment and said, "Aw that's a cute name. I call myself Sandy! Get it?" 

Kate didn't care. She lunged forward to attack and landed a devastating blow. Sandy was stunned for a few minutes and, after recovering, became furious. 

"Ok. Playtime is over. Let me show you what happens when you attack...us." Sandy said. 

A rift opened up. Out came a wispy figure and a young man bound in shackles.

"Hehehe. Show you my prize, yes? Have your friend with me, see?" Said Rift Man.

"Theo! What did you do? How did you get captured?!" Kate said frantically. 

Then someone from behind her whispered in her ear and said "How? Why, his freedom, as well as many others, was due to my course of action. I'm so glad to see you again my dear. Your friend was very good at his last test. Shall we begin with yours?" 

Kate was wide-eyed. She couldn't move and several tears streamed down her face. The man behind her who was now next to Rift man was the Cauterizer. It was her source of trauma. The reason she almost died. 

Cauterizer continued "Oh, my little one, dry your tears. It is time again to see what you are capable of. Hm. For this test, how about we see the extent of your powers by…" 

*aaarrghhh!*

"Not so fast hot head! I will not let you put my daughter through any more of your tests!" Said Slinky jumping seemingly out of nowhere in front of Kate as stretched to grab Rift man and squeeze him.

After noticing that Rift Man was suffocating, the Cauterizer tried to burn Slinky off of Rift Man with fire and all the while someone else was sneaking towards Theo. 

"Shh. Be quiet son. Dad's gonna save yer butt." Said Matter. 

As a precaution, Slinky called up none other than Laughing Matter to help! Matter was able to untie Theo while Slinky distracted the two villains and, once Matter gave the signal, Slinky released Rift Man. 

"Oh. So you've come to your senses, have you?" Cauterizer said. 

"Haha! Sorry pal, but my senses have always been as straight as an arrow!" Slinky said now showing Theo untied on their side. 

"What?! No!" Cauterizer yelled. 

"Uh, hehe. My bad…" Rift Man mumbled.

"Let's do this team!" Slinky said as he rallied his side. 

"Likewise, my comrades! It is time Rift Man!" Cauterizer said. 

Rift Man then opened a big rift which several figures walked out of. Mouse Girl, Snowglobe Gorilla, Tim, and somehow even Grass Man. The side of evil never seemed so intimidating to the four heroes. However, Slinky sensed this would happen and made a few calls. A beam of light came from the sky and Joe the space snail arrived with dual blasters raring to go. 

"Thanks for coming Joe." Slinky said. 

"Don't mention it, pal. I still owe you one for that time we had to fight those Egyptian zombies in Cairo." Joe replied. 

"Now there's one more guy I'm waiting for." Slinky said. 

A few moments later a flash of light blinded everyone and someone appeared out of thin air with a device in his hand. It looked similar to the transporters given to Kate and Theo.

Rift Man gasped as he recognized the figure that emerged from the light.

This person with the mask of a fox said "Huh. Guess I was a little late guys." 

Theo smiled and said "Alright! Now that we have Snarf-Kai on our side you'd better be prepared you villains because you're going down!"
