Have you ever regretted doing something? Have you ever wished to go back in the past to fix a dilemma? And have you ever thought….. When Did it Go All Wrong?
Ally's Perspective
Yay. Another year of school. Don't get me wrong. I don't hate school, or the concept of it. It's just I never loved it either. It's just that my life is normal. Nothing new and out of the ordinary. If my life had to be a color, it would be beige. Because the color is never interesting.
While I'm in the car with my mom, she looks at me and says, "Time to get out Ally. We're here at your school." I look at her pleadingly and beg, "Can I just skip school today? Please?" I give her the biggest puppy dog eyes someone could ever imagine. Of course the lady doesn't care and kicks me out of the car anyway. Sulkily, I drag myself to my classroom. While I'm walking, I see a bunch of kids talking, laughing, and playing. Not gonna lie, it was a nice atmosphere to be in.
I start walking up the stairs to my classroom, and slowly, but surely, I'm now right in front of the door. This is it. I look at the door, hoping whats behind it might be different than all the years I spent in school. Here goes nothing. I creak the door open slowly. I poke my head in the classroom and scope out the room. The first thing I see is this line of new kids.
Huh, this IS different. The thing about my school is that we don't get new kids often. Your more than likely stuck with the same class you knew for the past 9 years. So imagine MY surprise when I saw a line of them.
All the sudden, I hear, "Ally!" I spin around to see my best friend, Hazel. I grin at her and quickly pulled up a chair. "Hey Hazel. How you're doing?" I ask her. "Amazing! Guess why?" Hazel excitedly bounces in her chair, waiting for me to respond. "Why then?" I question. "Wellll," Hazel stops bouncing and shifts her body towards me, "We have new kids. How rare!"
I look at the line of kids. It was three boys and one girl. Now, that probably isn't a lot to you, but it's sure a lot to us. "Yeah, it is pretty rare," I tell her, with my eyes still glued on to the new kids, "But not enough for me to get excited."
"Class, attention please!"
In the front of the room is this middle aged lady, maybe around her 30's or early 40's, with short platinum blonde hair and rectangular glasses. She looked average height and had azure blue eyes. She had on a white cardigan and a plain black shirt and pants. She had thin lips and a very tired and hard-working aura around her. I'm going to assume she's our teacher.
"Let me introduce myself. I'm Mrs. Viaduct. I hope we have a great year together." She smiles. Unlike other teachers I had, I could tell she genuinely wanted to get along with us. She had a motherly vibe to her. "As you can see," Mrs. Viaduct continues, "We have classmates joining your class. Please welcome them with open arms." She suddenly stops and gives us a very murderous look saying, "Or else~."
"Yes Miss!" everyone yells immediately, obviously terrified. Mrs. Viaduct pushes up her glasses, "Good," she turns to the kids in the line, "Please introduce yourselves to the class." A kid steps from the line and says, "Hello, I'm Maxwell. Max for short." Max was the tallest person from the line. Heck, he was the tallest person from the class! He had golden blonde hair brushed to one side of his symmetrical face. His eyebrows were perfectly arched and he had deep, syrup brown eyes. His lips were soft and rosy, and it looked like he had clear skin. In short, he looked like he walked out of an idol magazine.
When he was done introducing himself, all the girls in our class were swooning over him. Everyone except Hazel and I. We didn't think much of him. Next was this other girl. She looked shy and timid. "Uh, hey. Nice to, er, meet you. I-I'm Mikayla." She had medium length, caramel blonde hair. Does everyone have blonde hair? She was the shortest out of the new kids, but she was average height for her age. She had thick cheeks and a round oval-ish face shape. She had small gray-blue eyes and a small button nose. She had this kind aura around her.
The next boy I can say was also quiet too. He introduced himself softly, "Hey. My name is Grayson." He had short dark brown hair. He also had big dark brown eyes and fair skin. He was the third tallest out of the 4 kids, and had thick eyebrows.
The last kid was obnoxiously too loud for his own good. "What's up! My name is Drew! Hope we become GREAT classmates!" he ecstatically yells. He had dirty blonde hair and bright, big royal blue eyes. His bangs were across his forehead like those kpop stars hair cuts. He was the second tallest from the group and he also wore a lot of known sports brands.
After all the introductions were over, the girls AND boys kept whispering to each other about Max. I overheard one two girls giggling and dreamily whispers, "He's so cute! He's like Prince Charming!" Hazel leans over to me and quietly tells me, "What's the hype about him for? I might sound crazy for co-co puffs by saying this, but I don't like him. He just feels off." I shift my gaze from the girls whispering, to Hazel. "I agree Hazel. Something is off about him. I just don't know what." I reply.
And before I knew it, my beige life, turned multi-color real fast.
