As soon as I left Mr. Richardson's class I started to cry I felt kind of bad for leaving Jace back there, but what can I say in the heat of the moment all I could think of was 

run, and hide. 

And then I thought I didn't want to be like dad, so instead of hiding I went to find Alls. It was about time for lunch so I guess was at our regular spot, I saw her there and up to her with open arms, tears still in my eyes, and hugged her as tight as I could ever hug anyone. Alls always understands everything I've through she was even there for me when mom died.

"What happened?!" Alls said said with a concerned look on her face.

"I had an... disagreement you can say, with Mr. richardson about mom and dad-."

"Okay, speak no more it's okay..just...just rest your head on my shoulder."

"Thanks Alls, for everything. Daniel said in a calm and quiet tone of voice.

After about twenty more minutes of my crying and sobs Jace ran up looking more worried than Alls did.

'What's wrong?, "What happened to him?" Jace said in a packined voice of tone. He looked like was hesitating to do something, then......he hugged me so gently I wanted cry in his arms but I just froze up just couldn't move but he was just.....there and I just couldn't feel so safe in his arms, not that Alls doesn't make me feel that way she's like my shield, but this a feeling I never had before. 

"Daniel had a fight with Mr. Richardson about his dad....and his mom, so he skipped most of his classes."

"It must have be a sensitive topic Mr. Richardson chose to talk about." 

"Yeah, it was."

"Listen, Jace this is my best friend and I don't to leave him here but I can't miss classes or I'll be held back a year. So could you please stay here with him?"

"Of course."

Alls looked down at me and winked. I knew what was she was doing opening a window for me and I would love to climb out of it. And then she said..

"Alright, Daniel you can come to my house after school Jace you could come too if you  if you want."

"I'll be there."

"K, see you." 

"Bye."

She winked at me once more before walking away.

Jace stared at me before saying gently and soft...

"Daniel do want to talk about, vent if you want I'm all ears."

I looked up at him I was quite done crying but didn't wipe my face a little still sad and I started wondering out loud..

"Can I ? Can I really talk to you? Share my secrets and personal feelings with you. Can I really do that?

He started to stare again and in my head I  thought opps?

"Sure, you can tell me anything."

I sighed, that was a relief. But I want to know what was thinking.

"Okay."

I told him my life story and waited for a response.

He asked a question.

"How is that a problem?"

There was only one answer in my mind and that was...

"I....I don't know."

I was really confused, not just the question he asked but the whole situation in general.

"Come on." Jace said calmly.

I looked up quickly.

"What?"

"Let's ditch."

He smiled widely showing his dimples and couldn't help smile back and I wiped my  face. And we jumped the gate.

"Now that I think about, what's next what do we do now?"

"We're going to my house, my parents aren't home."

I can't lie was really happy but nervous I haven't been anyone's else's house other than Alls. 

".....Okay....."

"Right, let's go."

Jace seems a bit too happy about this, maybe as happy as I am? No, it can't be or......can it?

"Daniel you okay dude you looked out of it just then."

Right, 'dude'

"I'm fine. Still thinking about earlier."

"That's what we ditched for, to take your mind off it."

"Right, right"

"Look we're here, my house."

 "Wow your house is kind of.....big."

"That's nothing it's a bit much isn't it."

"Someone would say that."

"Alright, let's go to my room."

"To your room?"

"Yea, is there a problem?"

"No, not a all!"

"Okay"

Like I said he seems really happy about this. It still could be my imagination though.

"This is it!"

"Again, Wow"

"Bean bag chairs, so soft. I should come to your house often, if that's okay?"

Is it bad that I want to check if he has feelings for me?

"Yeah.....sure."

I think I saw a little bit blush on his cheeks. Let's try again.

"Reaaaaaally?"

Again! I was right BLUSH!

"Yeah, I would *cough* like that"

Test succeeded.

 "Sweet!"

Still blushing.

"Next time you come to my house."

"Next time?"

"Yea, next time. Is there a problem?"

"No! I wanna come"

"Yeah, it'll be fun"

"So,, what do you want to do?"

"Uh, I don't know what do you want to do?"

"I'll do what want to do."

"How about we talk"

I wan to push this a little farther.

"Talk about what?"

I'm just gonna flat out say it.

''Hey, Jace do have anyone you like, as in romanticaly?"

"Uh...why you ask?"

"Just a question."

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

"Well how about you do you anyone you like?"

"Funny question heh...heh um, but yea I do"

"Do I know them or see them around?"

"That's really funny you have even been that long but you....could say that"

"Oh"

"You'll get to know him soon... Alls birthday is coming up soon"
