The house it enters is starkly different on the inside than on the out. For one, inside of the kitchen, a bit of dishes are neatly stacked on the counter near the sink. It appears as if someone had washed them but had to leave in a hurry before they could be put away. When the creature notices this, it suddenly freezes for a moment. With very little warning, an entire storm of information about basic, human, living conditions comes flashing into the creature’s head all at once. The creature feels as if it’s about to collapse, so it leans on the nearest counter-top and shuts its eyes tightly due to the influx of data now erupting inside of its skull. It tries its best to stay conscious while it does what it can to interpret what it is currently seeing inside of its head. When the painful mental flashes finally cease, the creature opens its eyes and looks at the set of dishes once again, and now it somehow knows that a group of people reside inside of this … home. The group of people, a family.
The creature takes a moment to gather itself, and while doing so, takes a few extra seconds to this time, carefully inspect more of its surroundings, lest it wishes to experience another seizure. When it agrees that all is well, the creature starts walking again and proceeds towards the living room.
Thanks to that recent seizure, the creature is now somehow realizing that it is amongst a species where it isn't proper decorum to barge into the home of someone you don't know personally, especially while naked. The creature doesn’t really know how it knows this, and it doesn't really know the subtle details of it, either. All it knows is that there may be a group of individuals somewhere inside of this home at the same time it’s in here, so it may be in its best interest to leave before things get worst like it did last night. However, the creature is compelled to stay.
As painful as the mini-seizure it just suffered was, the knowledge it gained from it was incomparably satisfying. It now has the creature desperately yearning to see what else it can learn about the environment around it. So, it continues on, looking and scanning, focusing on every single object it can, in an effort to trigger another epileptic episode.
A complete thorough scanning of the living room yields no results for the creature, so it makes its way to the staircase to the right, where an access point loaded with a wealth of information exists solely for its consumption. Apropos, it heads for the staircase and starts to walk upstairs.
