Having secured her promise he nods and turns his back to them. A sole broad-shouldered figure in the blinding flashlights – he takes up the whole scene, once again bearing the brunt and facing the consequences. Just like he used to do in the past. And isn’t it Strike Commander Morrison’s true purpose? To be the one who always takes the hit in order to protect the others. The selfless one. That is who he has to be now. And so he steps onto the stage, peels his visor off and looks up, revealing his face for those lusting to blame and to label.

This comic takes place after the canonical events and is a small part of my fic.
Talon is defeated. Gabriel was kidnapped by a shadow organisation that used to have ties with it. The leader of the said organisation wants to understand Gabriel's powers and to use them in his own selfish interests. He knows something about Gabriel - something that prevents him from assuming his Reaper form. Only one other person is also aware of it - Jack Morrison,
A team was sent out to get rid of him and they accomplish their mission successfully. At least, that's what thet believe.
On their way they might still encounter a problem which is one old soldier stubbornly refusing to die until he saves his partner.
