“They walked up to one of the doors and he pulled his keys back out. He unlocked to the door and opened it. “I just ask for you to stay out of my office. It has a large sign on it that says office. Not hard to miss.”
“Why did you put a sign up on a door in your own home.” Tim asked as he glanced around the large front room, “Is that a 70 in tv?” He yelled as he ran over towards the tv.
“It is. It was fun to get up here.
“Wow, I thought you were a doctor, not a drug dealer.” Smith said as he walked towards the balcony.
“This was all gathered over time.”
“This kitchen has every, “It has so much food in the cabinets.” Ted yelled as he walked back towards the front room. “Were you planning on a this?” he joked. As he sat on the couch with Tim.
“I rarely have time to go shopping, so I usually stack up since I barely have time in the days.”
“I have two showers that you guys can use. One in the master bedroom and one in the guest bathroom. This is a four-bedroom apartment too, so I have two guest rooms for you guys to stay in. Sara, if you want, you can sleep. In the master bed room and I can share with your cousin.”
“No. It’s fine. I couldn’t kick you out of your own room.”
“No, you are my guest. Please, I think your cousin would understand why I offer.”
“Sara, take the master bed. I can’t stand you sleep talking at night.” Smith added as Sara’s face started to blush red.
“I don’t talk that bad in my sleep.” Sara defended.
Tim laughed, “it is pretty bad.” Sara walked over and hit Tim in the shoulder. He laughed and then through his hands up, “I’m going to take a shower and get the sweat from running cleaned off.”
“I also have some extra clothing for everyone to change into.” John added as he walked back towards the master bedroom.
Sara walked opened the balcony door and walked outside. She looked below to see the store in the distance. She sunk down to the ground as she got a shiver as she remembered the lifeless face of Carol.
“Hey, are you okay?” Smith asked as he came outside also, “We are luck we have a good place to wait this out.” He walked back in and Sara continued to look up to see the sun still coming up in the distance.
