Whoa, what's with the new style? Screentones? What happened to the grayscale?
So, you guys know how sometimes I skip a week with Hickory? The grayscale is time consuming, and so I've been tinkering with new ways to speed up my art because I have...a lot of stories I want to tell. Especially with Hickory. Turns out: Screentones are crazy fast to use and look pretty damn neat in my opinion. Still kinda fits the aesthetic of Hickory. So, in order to make sure I keep uploading Hickory at a reasonable pace, I'm gonna be using screentones for most of the story. Because as much as I love the grayscale, I love getting pages done and up on time more.
I still intend for...certain moments...to be in grayscale or possibly even full color!
