I only have a few minutes, so listen carefully.
If you’re hearing this, I advise you to put the tape back in the box and forget all about it.
However, if you’re stupid enough to keep listening, go right ahead.
The most important thing to remember, though, is to get rid of these tapes right after your done listening. Do not, under any circumstances, keep the box or its contents for more than a couple weeks, Anytime longer than that will result in catastrophic events, so if you value your or your families' life, I advise you to get rid of them.
But enough about that, lets get to the more interesting stuff.
My Name is Scott Wilson.
For a while I lead a normal life.
I had a wonderful wife, two beautiful children, and a great job that provided us all with good food, clothing, and a roof over our heads.
But of course, like any other story such as this, it all went to complete shit.
It was a Wednesday, if I remember correctly.
My family and I had just finished dinner, and I had gone up to get the kids ready for bed.
Marilyn, my wife, had rushed over to me with the home phone in hand, saying it was my boss, and handed it over.
I, of course, answered without second thought.
My boss’ voice was rushed and ragged, sounding as if he had just been running.
“Wilson.”
He had said.
“We need you over at the office, stat.”
Then the line went dead.
Frantically, I handed the phone back over to my wife, running to the master bedroom, and fishing my uniform out of the closet, putting it on.
I remember then racing out the door and into my car without saying goodbye to my family.
-----------
But since it was raining, it took a little longer since the traffic was backed up a couple lanes. Thankfully, there was a cop outside directing traffic, making me only a few minutes late.
Driving up to the office building, I caught a glimpse of my boss and a couple others running up to my car, knocking on the window.
As I rolled down the window, my boss began to speak.
“Wilson, we found the kids.”
It usually took ten minutes to get to the office from my house.
