Run. Run. I gotta keep running. Can't stop. I gotta get outta he-
"Why must you run away from me? You still love me don't you?"
I turn my head and I see she's skipping after me. As if we were playing a game. I make a sharp turn into the nearest alley. I keep running until I make it to the end of the alley and into the street. I lean against the nearest wall to catch my breath. I can feel my heart ready to burst out of my chest. I try to listen for her, but all I can hear is the pounding of my heart.
"Oh are we playing a game of hide and seek? You know me so well, my sweet." I book it down in another alley way until I'm in an open area. Wrong turn I thought, because all I could see around me are the new houses and fountain. No exits anywhere. I stare at the fountain and see little glass butterflies, flapping their wings at the top of it. "Oh look at you, you are all out of breath."
I spun around and there she was. Standing there with the biggest of grins. She looked as if she just walked here. I can feel my knees about to give out. I'm shaking so badly that I can barely talk straight. "PL-PLEASE. Let m-m-me go. I'll go as-s far away from here as I-I can. I won't t-tell a soul of what you are trying to do. I promise." I can feel my self getting heavier after every word that passes through my lips.
"Oh my sweet. I wish I could, but you see. You are going to leave me. Just because I'm "too clingy". So, I'm just getting my final thing from you. The very thing you promised me that I alone would have and you always told me you would never break your promises. Didn't you?"
She starts walking towards me. I start walking away from her until I fall into the fountain. I look up and see all the buildings looking down on me. I also notice the butterflies dancing above me. Showing me pity, because of my fate I am about to receive. Please. Someone come save me. Anyone. Please someone hear my thoughts and save me. I can't tell if either these are tears I feel falling down my face or water from the fountain. I look at her to see that she too looks down at me.
"Oh and don't worry, my darling sweet," she says as she kneels down to caress my face, "I have a special jar for you, since you were always so sweet to me." She reaches up her skirt and brings out a dagger with a small pink heart at the end of the hilt. She brings it up with both hands over her head. She leans in and I felt a prick on my right arm. My vision begins to blur. She quickly leans into my ear and says, "Before you leave, all I want you to know is I'll always love you." She leaves a gentle kiss on my cheek and quickly strikes the dagger into my chest and starts cutting. I was going to scream, but I blacked-out before a single one could escape from my chest.
