Okay, what happened next sometimes still haunts me. I swear I wake up in the middle of the night thinking the police will bust down my door and throw me in jail. We did a very bad thing, we ran from the cops. Even worse, we got away with it. I swear the guilt is still eating at me, but all in all, I think it was worth it.
Riff is crazy, no arguments there. The girl was surely out of her mind. As we made it off the highway and onto another side road. Two things happened. First, the constant air-born stunts were a no go because the check engine light came on. Two, we blew out a tire.
"Shit." She cursed as we quickly sped into a side road.
She turned the radio off and the headlights. She also slowed down a lot.
"Get ready." She said.
I could hear sirens coming our way.
My heart never beat so fast in my life. I thought the speeding was bad, now I was on the run from the police! This is the intro to every bad episode of cops where the bad guys get tackled to the ground or the dogs get them. I kept looking up expecting a helicopter to fly over us with a huge spotlight.
Riff unbuckled herself so I did the same. Then she pulled over and parked the car, turning it off. Then without warning, she jumped out, not even opening the door and ran.
"Hey!" I shouted.
"Shut up! Keep up Solo!" she hissed at me.
I hopped out and ran after her. It was then that I began to regret all of my life's decisions. The words of Heather popping into my head mocking me for getting as fat as Fatties burgers. Her constant nagging that, that shit wasn't good for me. She even told me once that I was out of shape and would die in a zombie apocalypse, why do Heathers have to be right sometimes?
Riff way outran me. I could hear the sirens, see the red and blue lights quickly approaching. I swear since this night I have never eaten at Fatties ever again. I've learned my lesson. I glanced around, we were in some rich neighborhood. I turned because obviously running down the street was going to get me caught.
I ran to a house, any house, the first one I saw and quickly climbed and jumped the fence. There was a big dog, huge! Super fluffy. It barked its head off at me and began to chase me around the yard. I quickly hopped the fence to the next yard, and the yard after that. The dog was still barking.
I saw a tool shed and I ran inside, shutting the door behind me. I was breathing like a madwoman, way out of shape. I was sweating badly and my heart was trying to beat out of my chest. I sighed in relief and slide down to the floor.
That is until I saw the red and blue lights flashing through the cracks of the shed, stopped right in front of the house.
"Shit," I said.
I stood and backed up in the shed and right into Riff. I nearly screamed but she put her hand over my mouth.
"Shh!" she hissed in my ear.
She held me close to her body, one arm wrapped around me the other she used to keep her hand on my mouth. I could feel her breathing heavy, her chest pressing into my back, her breath being blown on my neck.
"Get down." She whispered before slowly lowering me to the ground.
She forced me to lay on my back and then she got on top of me and pulled a tarp over us. She moved a shovel next to us and made it stick out from under the tarp to look less suspicious.
"Get your breathing under control." She ordered.
I could see her trying to do the same.
Then she just relaxed her body on top of me and rested her head on my chest. I kept my arms tight on my side and closed my eyes tightly. I had this idea in my head that if I couldn't see the cops, then they couldn't see me. Yes, I understand reality doesn't work like that, but I was panicking! The cops were looking for me and I am pretty sure they had guns drawn.
I could hear the footsteps of someone coming. I must have let out a whimper because, Riff moved to cover my mouth and, and my nose because apparently I was breathing too loudly. I was forced to hold my breath.
All I could hear was my heart in my ears and the footsteps getting closer. Then I swear my heart stopped as the cop opened up the shed. The flashlight was shined around, even right on us! Riff was completely still, she was even holding her breath.
The cop walked over to the tarp, I could see the black boots.
They bent down to inspect, grabbing the trap edge and even lifting it up just a little before,
"Hey! I think I found something." Another officer called.
Whoever they were they dropped the tarp and walked out, leaving the shed door open. We waited a good few seconds before Riff removed her hand and we both took a breath. She moved very slowly and very quietly until she was eye level with me, only then did I notice her sunglasses were gone. Also, her eyes were two different colors. One blue, one brown. Looking at them I was taken out of reality for a brief moment.
I thought wow, how pretty and unique.
She ruined it by saying, "I swear if you piss on me I will actually murder you."
"I won't!" I hissed.
"Shh! We have to stay low until they leave, which means we are stuck like this for who knows how long. So don't move and don't talk." She whispered.
I nodded.
Her hair smelled like cigarettes, but also some hints of lavender. Even though I was high I think my adrenaline and fight or flight response overtook my body. I no longer felt high, I felt afraid. I could tell Riff felt that way too, she was fidgeting so much! Her hands had to be doing something. First, they played with the sleeve of her jacket, then she ran them through my hair, then she tried to trap them under herself to stop moving them around, which only made her fondle my chest.
She kept chewing on her lip and moving her hands. She would shift around every few seconds causing the tarp to rustle around.
"Stop! You are making more noise than me!" I hissed.
"Damn it." she cursed under her breath and buried her head in my neck.
"Just stop moving," I said.
"I can't! I need to be thinking of something or doing something. Fuck."
"Shh!"
I heard the cops walking back. I once again held my breath.
"All clear over here." He called.
I felt Riff kiss my neck, softly. The rest of her body stood still, even her hands, only her lips softly played on my neck. I felt my face heat up. How could she be doing that at a time like this!
I listened as the cops walked off and closed the gate. I could see the red and blue lights fading into the background. Even still we didn't move.
"S-stop." I whimpered as she gave me a hickey.
"Sorry, I had to do something. It's literally impossible for me to be still for long periods of time. especially if I am actively trying to do it. I have to be preoccupied with something else." She said.
"I think we can get up now." I tried to move.
"No!" she whispered. "They are still in the area, we have to wait."
I sighed and relaxed back on to the floor.
She once again nuzzled her head into my neck.
"Your skin, it tastes good."
"You suck at this, you creep." I frowned.
"What do you mean?" she giggled.
"First you smelled my hair like a weirdo, now you say my skin tastes good, oh yeah I am sure every girl wants to hear that." I rolled my eyes.
"Don't make me laugh." She snorted and did her best to contain her laughter.
"Shut it! Just stop being a creep, you creep."
You know what the creep did! She licked my neck! All the way up to my jaw bone. My first instinct was to yell, Ew! At the top of my lungs like some five year old, but I bit my lip and repressed the urge. She giggled at my reaction.
"Stop it!" I hissed.
"You can't make me." she smiled into my skin before doing it again.
"Riff I mean it."
"Fine, then I'll do this instead." She bit down on my neck and resumed giving me a hickey.
I felt the heat once again surge to my core. I had to admit. Her weird tactics did get me to calm down and forget about the police, for the most part. I felt my heart rate slow to a reasonable speed and my breathing may have been erratic but that was only because of what Riff was doing.
She moved her hands between us to squeeze my chest.
She was straddling me a leg on each side of me. I let my hands run up her legs slowly. She began to slowly grind her hips into me.
"Fuck you are turning me on." She whispered right into my ear.
"Uhh..." I let a soft moan. Then I felt my whole face go red.
I have never in all of my life, made a sound like that one. It was super embarrassing and I sort of felt mortified for having let it happen. I could not deny that I was also extremely turned on. I had never been in that type of situation before, no one ever gave me a hickey before or ground into me, or said I turned them on. I was like some preteen boy being shown what porn was for the first time, all hormones and no self-control.
I ran my hands up her legs to her butt. She has a nice firm butt.
"More, touch me more." She begged.
I felt her lips wrap around my ear lobe as she sucked it into her mouth. I ran my hands up her stomach, under her shirt and jacket. She moaned right into my ear. Then to my shock, she quickly withdrew her hands from my chest and sat up just enough to unbutton her jeans.
"Wait, what are you doing, stop," I said.
"No, fuck I'm so turned on, just fuck me already." She whimpered.
"We are hiding from the police!" I reminded her.
"Shh, I know, but fuck." She thrusted her hips a little for emphasis.
"Stop it." I turned my head away from her and quickly withdrew my hands. She let out a really cute whimper sound.
"You are so mean Solo." She pouted.
"Shh! Lay back down." I ordered.
She smirked and did as she was told, leaving her pants unbuttoned.
"I think I might win," she sang in my ear, "I know you were feeling what I was."
"Shh! No more talking." I did not look at her.
She chuckled before relaxing back on top of me. we waited there for another five minutes or at least what felt like five minutes before Riff could take no more. She stood up.
"Riff!"
"Shh! Come on." She helped me up.
We dusted ourselves off before Riff checked to see if it was all clear. When she was satisfied she grabbed my hand and slowly led me out of the shed. She walked over to the back door of the house and examined the door before trying the handle.
It was locked.
She huffed and got on her knees in front of the door.
"Riff what if they have an alarm system," I said.
"They don't. there is no sensor on the back door, look." She said.
I examined the back door, which was two French doors with clear square window slits all over. I could see into the dark house and I examined the door seal. It did seem to be all clear. She reached into her jacket pocket and dug around.
"How much stuff do you have in that jacket?" I eyed her.
"My whole life is in this jacket, which comes in handy in times like these!" she pulled out two little metal rods.
I watched her get to work on the back door lock. She worked carefully and quietly. I ducked down to my own knees when I saw the lights to a spotlight flashing on the fence. The cops were casing the neighborhood for us.
"Hurry!" I hissed as the light got closer.
"Got it!" she said as the doors came open.
We both quickly went inside and she quickly slammed the door shut behind us. Just in time as the light to the cop car past us by. We both sighed in relief.
"Geez, cutting it close." She said.
"Shh! What if someone is home." I stood up.
"They're not." She smirked at me.
"How would you know?" I crossed my arms.
"Because if they were the would have come out when the cops were in the yard. I think we are good for now." She said.
"Geez, you are trying to give me a heart attack." I turned to investigate the house.
"Maybe I am. We can just wait here till the heat is off us." She said.
"Where is here exactly?" I turned to her.
"Well my lady, welcome to paradise."
Add this to the list of crimes, evading arrest and now breaking and entering. The guilt will haunt me forever.
