“Come” I raised my chin up, looking down at the rest of them, because they are certainly trash that doesn’t need to get any respect or appreciation. As the gorilla charged to me with his roar, I switched my foot position to step on the blonde’s hair, then I bend my back to avoid his punch, the blondie who try to get up struggling because I still step on her hair. I pushed the gorilla down and use him as the strength to get my balance back. The gorilla lost his balance and fall onto his woman, lol, must be hurt, I pulled the gorilla’s arm up and I broke his pointy finger in no time.

He screamed out in pain, and I could hear the guards are coming closer, so I let his hand go, “Listen, if you mess with me again, I will break your neck.” I threaten them, and the women all trembles in fear.

“You don’t mess with me.” “I hold grudge.” I smirked at them.

The guards arrived in no time, they pulled me away from the rest, “What’s going on here?” One of them asked.

“They picked a fight with me.” I replied.

“Who did the beating?” He asked.

“They beat me and I beat them back.” I replied.

The guards then pulled out a stun gun and stunned me on the back of my neck, “Uggh….” It hurts so much, I panted as I fell to the floor. But he stunned the rest of the women, the blondie and the gorilla as well. I guess no exception for making a ruckus.

“There will be no next time.” The guard said to me. And I nodded with annoying expression, its not even my fault, are you blind? But I keep them to myself to avoid getting stun again.

Slowly I crawl myself up and pick the papers that I have dropped and went out to submit the papers, I could feel all the eyes were on me, but l could care less, none of them defended me. They are just the audience, they should just sit still and be the audience.

I went out for submitting my work to Mia, Mia told me to submit it to Mr. Alehandro’s office. Suddenly it brightens my mood, I can actually went it there?

“Yes, please go in there and get your additional pay.” Mia said.

I walked to the door and knocked at it, uncertain of what to do, thankfully the door opens up, so I walk inside, and my eyes wander around scanning the new room I just entered. This room is pretty much nothing? There are five worker, sitting in a line, one of them told me to hand over the papers, so I did and he give me a piece of paper, its thicker than usual, but it is not a card, it has S$5 written on the top of it. So there are this kind of cards, its new to me, but I still accept it with a thanks.

I expect to at least take a glimpse of Mr. Alehandro’s working office, but I guess that’s not happening on the 2nd day since I came here.

Going back to the 6th floor I do felt a bit nauseous on my way home, I went to the toilet to throw up as soon as I got home. Damn it, the punch and the stun gun managed to make me throw up. Ken rushed to me in no time, his face is as white as sheet, probably worse than how I look right now.

I told him I’m okay, but he doesn’t seem to believe my words. He handed me a glass of water with his trembling hand. I clean my mouth with it and drag myself to the bed, while holding my stomach, I curl up on the bed. My stomach doesn’t feel good, it doesn’t hurt like crazy but its disturbing pain. Ken gives me the medicine pouch, he is uncertain of what had happened to me.

I hold his trembling hands, its cold like ice, he must be feared by what he saw.

“I’m sorry to let you see this.”

He shook his head, “Are you in pain?” His eyes reflected all the worry he has.

“I’m okay.” I brace myself to endure the pain and get up, I hug Ken in my chest, but I guess my acting was not convincing because I sweat too much. Ken dash away to take his towel and wipe my sweat away for me, I am thankful that he is here with me, I can have such a good boy by my side.

“I was in a fight with several people. Since they come in crowd I was punched once in the stomach by a man, to add up, the guard stunned me with a stun gun, so I feel nauseous and throw up.” I explained to Ken, I don’t want to make him worry, but if I didn’t tell him anything he seems to be in panic.

“I want to grow up faster to be an adult and protect you sis.”

He is so sweet, my crybaby brother, “Thank you.” That’s the only word that could slip from my tongue.

Somehow, Ken’s word is ringing in my ear and it flows deep in my head, it sounds awfully familiar.

“I wish to be an adult soon and I swear I won’t let anything harm you Meg.”
