Krystal was waiting anxiously in the food court. She was expecting someone to show up, unfortunately she'd been waiting for an hour by now. She had shown up early to get some early shopping done.
She casually kicked at her glittered fuchsia Designer tote bag, and managed to stub her toe. She looked around before she decided to look inside it. Inside were rusty varieties of axes, hatchets, and knives.
TELL ME, YOUNG ONE WHY DID YOU ACQUIRE SUCH TOOLS? Reuben asked
"Not sure, they like, called to me. Maybe I was meant to have them." She explained
HOW DO FEEL WHEN YOU LOOK AT THEM?
"Powerful--like NO one can stop me." Krystal was very calm, it was almost trance-like until she smiled deviously.
EXCELLENT ANSWER. BUT, YOU MUST RETURN THEM.
"But--" She pouted
A TRUE WARRIOR USES INSTINCT AND INTELLECT. NEVER SOMETHING EXCESSIVE.
"Are you totally sure? Because my instinct is telling me to keep them. They weren't cheap, you know." She boasted
"What wasn't cheap?" Nate asked, she panicked and banged her head at the sound of his voice
She closed her bag and laughed it off. She stared at him, he was still wearing the suit he'd traveled to Elkenah with.
"H-Hi, you showed up!" She said and swallowed too hard. She grabbed her bottled water and guzzled quickly.
"Uh--You invited me, remember?"
"Of course! How could I forget?" She dropped drinking and flipped her hair dramatically
"You must've been really thirsty huh, Krystal?" He asked, she blushed at the sound of her name.
He reacted when he saw her stare at the table. "Uh--I'm makin' you feel uncomfortable." He said and touched her hand. "Let's try this again--THANKS for inviting me." He said and awaited her response
"No problem really--I-I just wanted to see you again." She blurted and covered her mouth quickly.
"Hmm--that's nice of you, and I really AM hungry."
"Oh! I thought you might be--so I ordered something in advance." She boasted and noticed a waitress coming their way. "Ah! Right on time."
The waitress was taken aback when she saw Nate. Krystal Gregory usually ate with the S3s, so seeing her with a guy was shocking.
"So sorry for the inconvenience, Miss Gregory."
"That's alright, Carrie--just don't let it happen again please."
The waitress nodded in acknowledgement and placed the trays on the table. One tray contained three Chili dogs, with a side a fries and a large drink. The other had a salad with croutons, apple juice and a small bean casserole.
"Thank you, Carrie. And don't be so nervous around me, 'kay?"
"Of course, Miss Gregory. I am very sorry."
The waitress went back to her post and almost fainted from panicking.
"Enjoy." Krystal expressed
[Hmm.] He thought
"Uh--" He stared at his plate
Krystal noticed his obvious hesitation
"What's wrong? You hate it, right? Okay, we'll try another--"
"No, it's just...I'm a vegetarian." He admitted
"That's like, so weird." She was surprised
"'Cause I'm a guy?"
"Your words not mine but--yeah, totally."
"I can order something different--" She rose but Nate took her hand and stopped her, she then blushed and sat down.
"Uh, how is it?" She asked
"Barbaric and gross." Nate replied
"I'm a vegetarian too, and I've NEVER had a chili dog in my life." She expressed
"Want some?" He offered it in her direction
"No way!" She expressed by making a sour face
They laughed again and couldn't help but notice Romy and Hudson walking out the front door.
