This may have been the first time my wife and I had this discussion, but it certainly hasn’t been the last.
Babies often rest in seemingly uncomfortable positions. Even now that he’s a toddler, Parker will fall asleep with his arm at a weird angle and his leg resting outside of the crib. I don’t know how he can sleep like that, but he always seems perfectly fine. Kari sees the odd angle at which our son sleeps and wants to pick him up and lay him back down, but my attitude is, “Why poke the bear?” The kid needs to rest. He’s a growing boy.
SIDENOTE: There is no question that my wife is a better mother than I am a father.
from what I know, if you let your kid rest in odd angles when he is a toddler it can cause harm to his growth, for example the neck thing, he can get neck injuries if he will not sleep in the right angle with his neck
