Gareth backed up from the older dragon and attempted to discreetly creep around him. Unfortunately, Lord Hollen noticed and swung his tail to block the young dragon.

“Gareth, I will be reporting this. You need to start to behave as befits your noble lineage.”

“I didn’t mean to be late...”

“But you are. Now get to class.” The golden dragon stepped out of the younger dragon’s way.

Gareth hurried past him and into the classroom.
