[The gang jumps from rooftop to rooftop going towards the library.]

Kai: Shona!!! Where is this thing at!!

Shona: Ohh shut up! It’s right up here!

[They come to the last rooftop. They gaze upon the library.]

Icarus: That didn’t take so long.

Kai: Here comes the boring part of the journey!

Shona: Shut up! Let's hurry! Get in and out so that you can stop complaining!

[They jump off the roof. The group looks up and down at the broken down library building. The library is quite small.]

Icarus:Why is this place so little run down!

Kai:Yeah this looks like a complete shit hole.

Shona:It doesn’t matter what it looks like. As long as they have the information what i'm looking for.

[The 3 of them began walking up the wooden stairs of the library. A sign hanging from the top of the library saying “Library of Moogalah”.]

Icarus: This place is real sketchy and why is there a slash through one of the Os.

[Shona suddenly puts too much pressure on the wooden step and her leg goes through the wooden step.]

Icarus:!

Shona:!

Kai:!

[Shona through the stair. Icarus quickly grabs her saving her from falling. Icarus shows a big grin smiling at Shona while pulling her up from the broken stair.]

Shona: Thank you!

Icarus: No problem! ShiShi!

[Icarus laughs. They walk through the door of the library. A bell goes off and dust comes from the ring of the bell.]

Icarus:Ahem! Ahem!

Kai:Ahem! What the! Ahem!

[Icarus and Kai choke on the dust of the bell.]

Shona: Hello! Anyone here!

[A woman pops up from behind a desk.]

???: Hello! Welcome!

[The group walks towards the woman. Icarus and Kai looking around the broken down library as they walk the woman.]

Shona:Hello Mam!

Rue: Oh please don't call me mam! You make me sound old! But hello my name is Rue!

[Rue gives off a light smile.]

Rue:Hello everyone. Let me introduce myself. I'm the librarian and the caretaker of this fine established library! My name is Rue!

[Icarus and Kai began to think to themselves.]

Icarus:*Hmm?! She used fine for a lack of a worst term

Kai:*Fine?! The hell?! This place looks absolutely terrible.

Icarus and Kai: Hello!

[Icarus stares at a bookshelf he is standing next too. Noticing a large amount of dust sitting on the bookshelf. He takes his finger and wipes it across the counter. He rubs his index finger and thumb together. He brings the dust close to his nose. He throws his head back and lets out a big sneeze.]

Rue:Bless you!

Icarus: Thank you!

[Rue smiles.]

Shona:Ms. Rue we came here to look for a few books but why is it so dusty here?!

Rue:Oh its ok you can drop the “Ms.” just call me Rue.

Shona:Ok. Alright Rue why is this place so dusty around here and a little broken.

[Icarus thought to himself.]

Icarus:*I’m not sure if 7 broken windows and half missing steps is a little! And don't get me started on the shelves!

Rue:Sorry this place looks so bad. The government cut our funding so repairs are hard to come by. But im very happy some people showed up I don't get many visitors.

Kai mentally puts his hand on his chin and began thinking to himself

Kai:*Ugh! Rue lady I dont think funding stops you from dusting and cleaning up the place to look somewhat presentable.

Shona:Oh man that's horrible! Sorry to hear that they cut your funding! Why did they cut your funding?! So you have less money coming in and you still have to pay the taxes for this building that's awful!

Jue:Yeah it's pretty bad but they said they had to cut funding because they didn’t have the money to keep supplying and their military funds were running low. I heard a rumor that they might be raising taxes soon too. But we won't know until they do it.

[Icarus thinks to himself.]

Icarus:*Wow the government sounds kind of cruel! But if the money is going to the military and it for there safety I guess it’s ok.

Shona:Oh man I wish there was something I could do!

[Kai smacks his lips together and whispers.]

Kai:Psst!!! No you don't.

[Shona hits Kai on top of the head.]

Shona:Shut up!

Rue:Oh dear!

Shona:Well i'm going to go look for some books.

Rue:Ok! Hope you find what you are looking for!

[Icarus and Kai walks over to a table surrounded by bookshelves. The table is filled with dust. Kai takes his pointer finger and wipes the table.]

Kai:Ew! I understand yah funding is gone but man could you at least clean, sweep,mop, or do something about this place.

Icarus:Yeah I can’t lie this place is too dirty.

[Shona pulls up to the table with a hand and arm full of books. The books slam onto the desk throwing all of the dust off the table.]

Shona: Stop complaining!

[Icarus and Kai sneeze.]

Kai: How the hell we supposed to deal with it! It’s so much dust in here you can barely breathe.

[Shona gives Kai a death stare. Kai and Icarus shrink in fear.]

Icarus:Ugh! We can deal with the dust right?

Kai:Yeah! A little dust is not a problem!

Shona:GOOD!

[Shona takes one of the books off the stack she has.]

Shona: Ok lets see if this has the information im looking for!

[Shona sits down at the each of the table while Icarus and Kai sit down on the opposite side of each other in the middle of the table. 5 mins past.]

Icarus:UGH!! I’m bored!!

Kai:UGH!! I’m bored too!!

Icarus:SHONA!!! I'M BORED!!!

Kai:Shona!!! I’M BORED!!!

[Veins appear on the side of Shona’s head in frustration.]

Shona:Can you two shut up im trying to focus.

Kai:Ugh! Need something to past time!

Icarus: I have an idea!

Kai:!

Icarus:!

[Icarus and Kai headbutt each other. They heads fly back from the crash of their craniums. They both come back and locked hands. They begin to arm wrestle.]

Icarus: Huh?!

[Kai smirks in joy.]

Icarus: You know! Kyokutanna arm wrestling?!

Kai: Of course!

[A big smile come across Icarus’s face. The hands of Icarus and Kai sway back and forth from them using Kiiro on their arms to increase their strength.]

Icarus: Me and my old man used to play Kyokutanna arm wrestling all the time to test my strength with my Affinity!

Kai: The bandits I grew up with all played with me! I was never able to beat them so they used to make fun of me for being weak until I got older and became stronger!

Icarus: Bandits?!

Kai:Yea!

Icarus:Wow! You grew up with bandits!

[Shona grew more frustrated with their constant noise in background throwing off her concentration.]

Icarus:How was it growing up with bandits?!

Kai:Well…

Icarus:WAIT THAT MEAN YOU ROBBED AND HURT PEOPLE!!

Kai:Ugh…

Icarus:WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO PEOPLE??!!

[Icarus takes a concern look onto his face. Icarus Kiiro increases in his arm. He slowly starts to push Kai down toward the table. Kai stares as his arm slowly goes down. He smirks and looks at Icarus.]

Kai: Calm down!! I didn’t rob or hurt anyone! I just lived there! That's the only place I can remember and they are like my family! However my family moral compass isn’t like mine they did what needs to be down in order to survive!

[Kai increases his Kiiro to overwhelm Icarus. Kai begins to push Icarus’s hand toward the surface of the table Icarus hand lingering a few inches above the table. Kai’s close to winning.]

Icarus:So you're guilty by association?!

[Kai smiles.]

Kai:Pretty much!

[Icarus smiles back. Icarus gains even more strength and picks his arm back up to make it back equal.]

Icarus: Well that's good! You didn't hurt anyone after all!

Kai: But that doesn’t mean I disagree with their ideology!

[The tables shakes more and more. Shona grows even more frustrated. Kai looks at Icarus while cold mist leaks from his mouth. Icarus looks at Kai while ambers of fire come from his mouth. Frost begins to grow from Kai’s wrist onto his hand, Icarus summons fire to come from his wrist onto his hand. The hands are filled with fire and ice.]

Icarus:TSK!

Kai:TSK!

[The both of them smirk. Icarus increases his strength. He slams Kai’s hand down toward the table.]

Icarus: Got you!

[Kai smiles. His tilts his hand to reveal a small pillar of ice stopping Icarus from pushing his arm down to the table.]

Icarus:*HMM?! He stopped me from pinning him by conjuring ice to block his hand from going down. His arm is touching the table so that's how he was able to conjurer it.

[Kai throws his arms back up.]

Kai: It won’t be that easy!

[Kai flips the situation on its head. He pushes Icarus hand closer to the table to pin.]

Icarus: So i’m assuming you learned Kiyo from your bandit family?!

[Icarus says this as his arm is shaking from trying to avoid being pinned.]

Kai: Yeah they taught me everything I know when learning Kiyo and training my Affinity! I’ve gotten beaten up so many times while training! They didn’t go easy on me!

Icarus: Wow! I was trained by my old man! He was pretty harsh with my training as well!

[Icarus smiles in Kai’s face.]

Kai:!

[small sparks of fire begin bursting from Icarus’s hand. These small sparks pushing and propel Icarus’s hand away from the table. Kai gives an anxious face. They come back to being even.They look at each other with a smile. Suddenly they let a strong amount of Kiyo. Both of their hands shaking back and forth]

Icarus:!

Kai:!

[They suddenly calm down and assess the room.]

Icarus: You felt that?!

Kai:Yeah! What was that?!

Icarus:Hey Shona…

[Another vein pops onto Shona’s head.]

Icarus:*EEEKKK!!! Let me not ask her she focusing!

Kai:It’s gone now but what was that?!

Icarus: I don’t know!

Kai:Well! There is no use thinking about it since we don’t know where that came from!

Icarus:Ok!

[Kai leans back in his chair.]

Kai:So Icarus how do we become these so called adventurers and get the money.

Icarus: Well it's quite easy you just have to collect all for temple badges that are spread throughout the world and once you get all four you will be inducted as a professional adventurer.

Kai:Hmm.

[Icarus rapid shakes his head up and down at Kai.]

Kai: So where do we start off?

[Icarus whips the map out of his backpack.]

Icarus: Well I only have a brochure for one of the temples.

Kai:One! How are we supposed to get to the other ones!

Icarus:We will just have to ask around! SHISHISHI!

Kai:Huh!

Icarus: Well we have to go to Lake Selfoss! And in order to get there we have to go through NovacGrad…

Kai:NovacGrad?!

Icarus:Huh?! Is there something wrong with that?

Kai:No its just…

[Shona heard the word NovacGrad come up in the conversation. Her head shoots quickly looking at the two of them. Dollars signs formed in her eyes drool slightly falling out her mouth.]

Shona: NOVACGRAD!!!!

[Shona yells breathing heavily on the two of them.]

Icarus:AHH!!

Kai:AHH!! What the hell Shona!

Shona: I HEARD NOVACGRAD!!!

[Kai signs. Kai facepalm himself.]

Kai:Of course out everything we said you only heard NovacGrad.

Icarus:What is this place NovacGrad?!

[Kai signs and lays his hand on top of his hand.]

Kai:NovacGrad is home to the richest man in the world.

Icarus:Richest man in the world?!

Kai: The home of Joker. Joker owns more money than the government have in their vault.
