[Kai signs. He pinches his nose and shakes his head. He closes his eyes.]

Kai: The richest man owns the richest city. A tourist paradise. At least for those who are into that. There is one thing you need to know about Shona she has a gambling addiction…

[Kai opens his eyes. He jumped back in shock to see Icarus and Shona drooling with dollars signs in their eyes.]

Kai:EEEHHH!!

[Kai signs down toward the floor with disappointment.]

Kai: Not you too!

[Shona slams the book closed that she was reading. Dust flies out the book choking both Icarus and Kai.]

Shona: Alright! I’m done lets go!

Icarus:YAHOO! We finally get to start this adventure!

Kai:But of course the first place we have to go in NovacGrad.

[Shona gathers all the books she collected.]

Shona:Before we go let me return these books back to they original spot.

[Shona walks and takes the books back to where she got them from. She puts the books back in position. She finishes and walks over to Rue.]

Shona:Hey Rue?!

[Rue smiles.]

Rue: Yes?!

Shona:Can I ask you a quick question?

Rue:Sure what is it?

[Kai begins to slowly walk out the door with Icarus following behind him. As they pass by Shona and Rue having their conversation Icarus looks over toward them as if he is trying to make out what Shona is saying from the movements of her lips.]

Icarus:*V...V…

[Kai makes his way towards the door. Kai opens the door but before walking out he yells.]

Kai:SHONA LETS GO!! And goodbye Rue.

Icarus:See yah Ms.Rue

[Rue smiles at them then continues her conversation with Shona.]

Rue:Sorry I don’t know anything about that.

Shona: Oh ok!

[Shona starts walking away while waving at Rue.]

Shona:Goodbye Rue! Thank you for letting me use your books.

[Rue smiles and waves.]

[Shona walks outside of the library to see Kai and Icarus waiting for her. Icarus standing at the top of the stairs and Kai standing on a step below him. Shona walks up to hit Kai.]

Shona: Don't you rush me!

[Shona swings a right hook to hit Kai. Shona’s swing misses Kai. Not because Kai dodged it but because the step that Kai was standing on broke. He fell through the staircase dodging her punch.]

Icarus:!

Kai:Huhhh…

Shona:What did you do?! You broke the step!!

Kai:Broke!! I Fell!!!

[Kai climbs his way out of the hole of the staircase.]

Kai: Ugh! Rue needs to fix this damn building there are to many safety hazards.

Shona: Hey stop! She cant help it she said the government cut off her funding so it's hard for one person to manage this all by themselves.

[A shockful tension pass by the air.]

Icarus:*It's that feeling again! What is that?

[Icarus slowly panders his vision across the cityscape.]

Icarus:Hey guys you ready to go?!

Shona: Oh yeah that's right! Don't we have to go to NovacGrad?!

Kai:Do me a favor a wipe the spit that's hanging out your mouth… But yea we have to hop on the Autobahn. It’s going to take us a long time to get there.

[Kai walks off. The others following behind him.]

Icarus:What is the Autobahn?!

Shona: Yeah taking the autobahn will take us days to reach NovacGrad

Icarus: Hey what's the Autobahn?!

Kai:Ugh!! I really don’t feel like spending money on those tickets.

Icarus:So guys whats this Autobahn?!

Shona: I WILL PAY ANY PRICE TO GET TO NOVACGRAD!!

[Icarus reaches into his backpack and pulls out a crumpled map.]

Shona: Why is it crumbled into a ball.

Icarus:Oh! HAHA! Sorry! I kinda just threw it into my bag!

[Shona un wraps the brochure to look at the map.]

Shona: So we have to get onto the Autobahn take that to NovacGrad then get off (gamble a bit) and transfer to the NovacGrad train station. Once we get on that train we will be on our way to Lake Selfoss. But the trip to NovacGrad…

Icarus:Ugh Shona drool..

Shona:Oh yes! Sorry! This should take about 7 days by the Autobahn.

Icarus: That's a long time. Is there anyway to speed up! Can’t we just walk there?!

Kai:Ica...I…

[Kai facepalms.]

Kai: Icarus think about what you just said!

[Icarus puts his finger on his chin and thinks.]

Kai: Shona just clearly said it will take us 7 days to get there.

Kai:So if it take 7 days by train… you still following me?

Kai:Wouldn’t that mean it would take even longer by walking?!

Shona:Lets go inside buy our tickets.

[Icarus and Kai follow Shona inside into the huge hall of the Autobahn building. The walk over to the ticket booth.]

Shona: Hello!

Ticketer: Hello!

Shona:How much will it be for a ticket on the Autobahn?

Ticketer: That will be 1000 Rendo!

Shona:1000?! That's a lot!

Ticketer:Well that how much it cost to ride a train that goes through the entire continent.

[Shona checks her wallet for money.]

Shona:*EEK! I forgot im flat broke!

[Icarus whips out the money he has in his bag. He slams the money of the desk of the ticketer.]

Icarus:I’LL TAKE 3 TICKETS PLEASE!!!

Ticketer: Ok

[Icarus grabs his ticket. He runs off looking back at the other smiling.]
