Lord Gil-Galad gets curious about Celebrian's down mood...
It occurred to me that non-tolkien fans might not know who Gil-Galad was...he's basically the king of the elves, and is related to Celebrian (although its not quite clear how they're related)

Adorable comic, I love this! Also, "Gil-galad is related to Celebrian"... practically all the elves are related to each other, it's such a mess... Honestly I just checked the family trees and if you say Gil-galad and Celebrian are related you might as well say Elrond and Celebriam are related. (In short, Gil-galad wad the grandchild of Fingolfin, while Elrond was the great-grandchild of Fingolfin. Fingolfin was brother to Finarfin, and Finarfin was Galadriel's father, and Celebrían is the daughter of Galadriel. Because Tolkien changed his mind so many times and was so vague about who Celeborn was related to, I won't go into that now, but he and Elrond might also be related.
