QUESTION TIME! WIN A SIGNED A4 POSTER WITH YOUR DESIGN!
Aight, are you ready? The following page will be a full paged cover/introduction page ("page, paged, page"!!) and my question to you is... What should it look like? "The bypassing dinosaur" will be written somewhere on the page, but the rest is undecided. Think about it like this: If I was about to make you a poster with The Bypassing Dinosaur, what would you want it to look like? And let's twist it up a bit more... The winning design will have a printed A4 copy of the page sent to them, with a little personal message from Jet da goat (that would be me!) Doesn't matter where you live, I'll send it to you if you want it :) So send in any idea for a poster that you might have, and remember: GO CRAZY! If you want to see a space battle, WRITE IT! Do you want to see the moon-rex eat a hippo? GO FOR IT! No idea is too crazy, and you'll have the chance to win a signed poster!
oh my gosh! I'm so glad I discovered The Bypassing Dinosaur! What a novel idea! Can we submit more than one idea? my brain is FULL of ideas!
I want to see a poster with the T-Rex bypassing dino on it... we are going with a Town Musicians of Bremen approach here... Standing on his back is the laser-toting raptor from Jurassic World (I know it was cameras but let's pretend it was really lasers!) and then standing on "Blue"s back.... Jet Da Goat! and then to top this epic cake off... a wild looking cat! Because cats rule the internet.
Why choose this beautiful and compelling layout? It represents everything that makes up The Bypassing Dinosaur! It's got the iconic character and his mysterious story. It's got every soul's passion for dinosaurs and the hungry question we all share "what if?". It's got you! And it's got the wild conglomeration of internet consciousness, wrapped up into a single attractive, strange, unfathomable creature that is the comic strip!
Wahoo!
Draw THAT. I want THAT on my wall! Delicious.
We've travelled back in time, to the age of the dinosaurs. A small rock is flying through space, made of material from an unknown location. It's looking for a host. After thousands of years it finally reaches a planet that seems worthy (the planet, Earth, is actually just in the way and the little rock collides into it without much of a choice) It reaches the surface and - with a small explosion - divides into smaller pieces. They scatter in all directions, and clone the DNA of whatever it gets close to...
"The Bypassing dinosaur" is a color comic WITHOUT ANY SCRIPT! The idea is to each week ask you as a reader what you would like to see next. There will be one specific question asked by me but if you have other ideas you're more then welcome to send them in, either on here, DeviantArt, Tapastic, JetSwordComics or Facebook! When we get through enough pages I'm more than confident that you guys will come up with a bunch of ideas, and I'll do my very best to include as many of them as possible! This is our comic. We create it together.
