A few hours pass within the forest trail and the Queen starts to notice that everyone is starting to doze off. She starts to wonder if the King will let them rest, she looks off to him and notices that he had fallen asleep. She held her staff into air commanding everyone to halt.
"Your Majesty why are we stopping?"
"We all need to rest, and the King has already fallen asleep on his noble steed. It also seems to me, that everyone else needs to rest."
"Nonsense! The squad and I are completely awa-"
"General Lisa you can't lie. I can see right through you. Either way we all need a little rest. Just look at your group, they can't make it another hour without collapsing."
"You...you are correct your majesty. I'll inform the guards to unpack the tents and the supplies. Your tent is our first priority."
"As you wish."
As General Lisa gave the guards orders the Queen notices that Secton was walking toward her, with Pixrry in his grasp.
"She has fallen asleep. It is interesting how you creatures can rest anywhere."
"It sure is...I have a question for you...Secton was it?"
"Yes."
"Are you not tired? It seems like moving around with a creature in your hands can be tiring, no? Not to mention that you defended yourself and walked with us for hours."
"I can assure you that I am not tired. In fact I'm restless."
"Well if you don't mind, may you give Pixrry to me?"
"Oh! Sorry, uh here you go."
As Secton gave Pixrry to the Queen he notices the guards are frantically setting up everyone's tents. He then looks at General Lisa and notices she is cautiously walking towards him and the Queen.
"Um...Your majesty...uh should I keep look ou-"
"Lisa if you don't mind what if I took cared of look out duty?"
Both the Queen and Lisa were confused on Secton's request.
"Are you sure creature?"
"Secton."
"Yes...Secton, are you sure? Look out duty means shifts you know. How am I sure I can trust you?"
"Again my answer will be the same. I don't know, if you can. Just keep an open mind once in a while. Either way you all need to rest."
"Fine, but If you are first duty then wake me up for second duty. By the way your Majesty you tent has been made for you three."
The Queen takes Pixrry and the King to their tent so they all can rest, while General Lisa tells the rest of the guards to go rest in their tents while she stands next to Secton, questioning herself if this was a good idea. Secton starts to notice all the little lanterns inside each tent start to go out. Secton then stares at General Lisa, awaiting for some type of command.
"What are you staring at?"
"I am awaiting your command to do anything. When I was in the ravine with Pixrry I gave her a promise to never harm a soul with out her permission. However she is resting and I think I have found the next best alternative. That would be you, I suppose..."
"Oh, OK. I guess you stand watch and I'll get firewood from the forest. If you hear anything unusual protect the camp alright. I'll be back in a few minutes. I entrust you with the camp alright. So don't do anything crazy alright."
"...REGISTERING COMMAND...COMMAND REGISTERED...I'll wait here, but when you arrive I'll help with the fire."
"Oh...alright."
-Lisa's View-
As Secton stands in place and watches over the camp, General Lisa walks toward the thick dark forest and starts to collect dead branches with no source of light except for the moon. As she collects more branches along the way she starts to feel a unnerving presence loom over her. She also notices that the amount of branches within the forest have decreased drastically. Lisa then finds a low bearing tree and tears some of the new living branches. She then feels a cold breeze hit her armor, which made her shiver in place. Lisa never remembered the forest ever being this cold before, but she didn't pay much attention to the cold breeze. A few minutes go by and the forest started to have a light clearing with a bunch of dead branches and hollow stumps. Lisa was always stuck on patrolling the forest before Pixrry went missing and she had mapped the entire forest, and she remembers the forest like the back of her hand, but she has never seen this part of the forest. Lisa walks into the clearing to gather more dead branches and decides why not a hollow stump to feed the fire that was soon to be made. Lisa made a trail before she left camp and took the trail back to the camp.
-Secton's View-
As Secton stands in place and watches over the camp, General Lisa walks toward the thick dark forest and starts to collect dead branches with no source of light except for the moon. Secton then stares and awaits her arrival. Secton walks around the camp, but notices that his steps are incredibly loud, so he thinks of the next best thing...just stay in place like he was supposed to. Secton then feels a cool breeze hitting his cold metallic body. Since he is metallic the cold never bothered him anyway. Secton then hears weird noises coming from the dark forest. He stands up and sets himself in combat mode awaiting for the creature to show itself. He then notices a few glowing orbs float around the camp, and didn't think much of it until two yellow glowing eyes appeared within the trees. He then hears a voice within the trees and wind.
"You shouldn't have come to this forest."
"Who are you mysterious voice?!"
"I am the guardian of this forest, and the guardian of Erk. The Green Father is his name."
"What do you want?"
"I want you to leave! I overheard your conversation of making a fire with a human isn't that right?"
"You know it's rude to loom over somebody's conversation. Look the fire was her idea. Not mine alright. I just agreed to it. Knowing the weather she is going to need it. It is kinda cold for these creatures you know."
"Does it look like I care? I'll give you a deal metallic beast. If you don't make that fire with that human monstrosity. I'll promise not to tell Erk and he won't attack tomorrow night."
"Look pal, this fire is going to be made. So if you don't mind, leave this camp alone."
"You yourself Secton are playing with nature's fire."
The voice vanishes into the forest while laughing maniacally and the glowing orbs vanished as well. As that little encounter vanished General Lisa had returned with a bit to much wood.
-Regular View-
General Lisa had returned with a bit to much wood to be called fire wood, and looked at Secton in shock.
"The camp is fine?"
"Yes Lisa."
"Well...I truly didn't expect you on doing a great job. At protecting the camp that is."
"It was no problem at all. In fact it was quite interesting. Well since you got the wood hows about we make this fire."
"That would be nice."
Lisa and Secton started to make the fire pit, and during the process Lisa started to yawn, Secton tried to convince her to rest, but she insisted on making the fire instead. A few more minutes pass by and the fire was now complete. Secton sat down to the nearest tree that was pretty close to the fire and with some hesitation on her part Lisa sat right next to Secton. Secton then stared at the flame and at the camp. He had seem to have forgotten that he was on look out duty. He then feels a light tap on his arm and see's that General Lisa has fallen asleep. He readjusts Lisa into a position so she wont awaken from her slumber. Time passes by and nothing happens within the night. Secton kept his word and stayed active the entire night, no matter how boring it was. As the night goes by, the morning has arrived.
