this page starts out with some strong emotions. the scenery and colours really push to give an abandoned feeling to the city, and it can get quite atmospheric.
I think the 2nd panel on this page is pretty strong! it pops out to me as kinda poetic, with Boots face in the center of the shot, and all you can see behind her is cracked cobblestone. it somewhat communicates that she's broken. I don't remember how I had put it before I accidentally erased my first response to this page, but my point is that it's a really well done panel! it communicates a bit about the character and how she's feeling at the moment. the water effects on the the first panel is very well done as well! I like how the reflection and gentle water ripples work together. the water itself is very well done, and reminds me of a still from a tv show or movie.
the perspective is yet another triumph! it's really enhanced with the incorporation of shadows under the bridge. it breathes life and atmosphere to the city in a very neat way.
speaking of, the moss on the wall is also very well done! I like how it also helps build the setting as a long-abandoned city, and even makes the city feel damp. or at least this bridge. I like how the flowers pop out against the darker tones, and how they even look like stars.
and lastly, Boots! the star of the show! I really enjoy how you depicted her struggle to stay awake through her actions and poses. even the dialogue seems like she's struggling for consciousness. it's really neat how she's also talking in her head instead of out loud when she's this tired, a mistake I see quite frequently. her expressions also sell the frustration of staying awake, like how her eyes never seem to be focused and on the brink of falling asleep again. the water shine on her fur looks very nice as well! I also really like how her face fur darkens under the water, instead of shines. it's a very good detail that came out well.
